One of my internal drives died.

I can't find my LR Catalog file on my other drives, so I'm guessing that the file was on the drive that's fukking up

:wow:

That drive has like 2TB of data on it from pics to music to video...

No backups
:wow:

Already sent it in to a data restoration service... Going to cost me at least 400 brehs

Back up your shyt brehs
:wow:
My nikka...wtf:mjcry:

Personally if it were me, I would grab the 85mm. I have a 17-55mm, and a 50mm that I use for portraits. I rented an 85mm and was blown away by the focal length and DOF.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Quick question: What kind of backup solutions do you guys use?
tb hard drives... never have too much space, especially if you do video. a raw file will be about 20 mb.. 1080p 60 fps video is about 800 mb for 5 mins... but what killed me is my drone.. 4k 60 fps is 4GB for 5 mins

so now i have 500 gig of ssd, 8 tb of internal on 3 drives... i back them up sparingly to each other.. only keeping the good photos after editing and video usually combined into a blog or commercial

Thinking of getting the 70-200mm

Anyone who has the f4 and has played with the f2.8

Is the f4 that much worse?

I borrowed a friend's f/4, I now have a f/2.8, image quality seems to be a bit better on the 2.8. Obviously low light performance is much better, although the 2.8 does carry some extra weight.

I'm getting my 85 1.8 in the mail today

Can't wait to try it out :noah:

Nice! Looking forward to seeing some pics.

Definitely not cheap, very worth it though. I gotta pick up a full frame and an 85mm next.

@shutterguy thanks again

Got my triggers last week and two light stands and two cheap umbrellas. My cheap little setup cost me just 60 bucks but it's working

:salute: anytime breh. Glad to help, especially photography related stuff. You can get some great results with just a few pieces of equipment. I rocked a 1 light setup for awhile before I got a 2nd one.
