followers might go up because somebody that's in your lane that you don't follow will show up in your feed with a good photo because they used a hashtag you follow. I'll probably stop following a lot of those feature accounts.
fukk those accounts any way :pacspit: they stay liking my photos but wont repost cuz my models are black

I have a Sony kit lens which is considered to be decent. While I’ve had some okay shots, some of the clarity I’ve seen on some shots in here are just :ohhh:

85mm is goat portrait lens

i kinda only fukk with 35 and 85
Got my 35 1.4 coming either today or tomorrow. I'm not passionate about 35mm but its too perfect for indoor portraits and event work not to have. When I just want to grab something and hit the street I go for the 50 though.

It doesn't matter what you shoot with, what kind of lens, etc. You can get a good shot if you know what you're doing.
That’s what I was thinking, but it for the sharp shots it usually comes down to having enough light for the lens I think, and none ever have that clarity. And I’ve taken a LOT of pics

i like getting pretty close when i shoot street, so 35mm is my default. for some reason i dont fukk with 50mm anymore. but i do like it for shooting events sometimes

I don't really mind it. Its from me bring the highlights down.
Some lenses you dont get the ring around the bokeh. some people despise that shyt :russ: i didnt even know there was different kinds of bokeh, and bokeh that was hated until like a year ago.

yeah, lol...I guess stuff like that what separates the affordable lenses from them $1000+ lenses. Usually I'm frowning because they be footballs and not circles. lol

Them pixel peeper types of "critics" come up with all kinds of shyt. I got into it with these dudes on the pentax forums one time. I posted something and dudes said something about the black levels being a little faded. Didn't say any compliments or nothing. And this was like a real nitpicky thing and clearly like an editing/artistic choice. So I asked them to post their portraits so that I can at least know that they know what they're talking about. All of a sudden they got quiet. This is a picture by one of the dudes trying to critique me. (I hope it shows up).
