anyone can recommend a sharp lens for canon that wont drain my pockets?
I have a canon full frame and a crop

currently have a
50mm 1.8
canon 35mm f2
24-105mm
canon 10-18mm

i think you mentioned you rented the 1.2 version
is there that big of a diff :lupe:

Just the huge price difference, weight, and ability to shoot at f/1.2 (for me that would be a rare occasion). Don't get me wrong the 1.2 is a monster and sucks up any available light with ease but it is heavy to lug around, its slow, and its ridiculously expensive.

i thought you were full frame all this time

When I bought the 7D it was deal I couldn't pass up, plus its frames per sec helps when I'm shooting motorsports and air shows. It has been a trooper for the last 3 years. I really do want full frame for portrait work though, was gonna go with 5D MK II, guy at my local camera shop said go for the 3, the differences are night and day.

7d is great, i almost bought it but as I had a T5I already went with the 6d to have a crop and full frame.

5d mk iii and 4 are :noah: but when iw as looking for a full frame i got the 6d body for 800 with only 300 shutter count was prob stolen but ah well :heh:

It'sso great how lenses hold their value, sold off my old micro four third lenses I bought in 2012 and I they still kept like 70 percent of their value

Camera shop in my area had that 5D MK 4 mounted up with an 85mm f/1.2 :ohlawd:

Could go broke in that place.

You got a deal on that 6D :whew:
