I received a message that you called earlier, and Iβm sorry I missed you. It sounds like you might need help compiling an estimate, and weβd be happy to help. Here is how we work with photographers in that capacity:
Typically, we will first talk with you (and your client if you like) to get a thorough understanding of your project. Then, we'll draft a proposal, factoring in the complexity of the job, time required, skill level, uniqueness, the licensing required by the client, the necessary production elements and overall market conditions. We will review the details of the quote with you and then negotiate (or assist you in negotiating) the final terms with the client. We do frequently work with the client directly, but are happy to work in the background if you prefer.
Our estimating consulting is billed at $150/hour, and the average estimate takes about 3 hours for us to build from the ground up. However, this can vary significantly based on the information initially provided and the willingness of the client to discuss the project and supply information. Alternatively, you can build the production estimate and we can come up with the licensing fees, or you can build the entire estimate (production and fees) and ask us to review it. Both of those options would take about 2 hours.
Our typical turnaround time is two business days, and if you need the estimate any faster than that, a 100% rush fee may apply. We keep track of the time we spend on each consulting project and bill for it in quarter hour increments (with an hour minimum) at the completion of the project, regardless of whether or not the job is awarded to you. Also, we don't take a commission on successful estimates. At the end of a given month, our business manager will provide you with an invoice for any consulting time accrued and automatically charge the credit card we have on file. We'd just need to take down some billing information and learn more about the project to move forward.
If that all sounds good, please let me know how youβd like to proceed, and please feel free to pass along any/all information and correspondence you might have about the project, and Iβd be happy to take a look.
just got off the phone with an interview for a major brand for a shoot. I actually had to sign an NDA before i even started speaking. It seems like a big deal, in the 5 figures. Anyways I just called this site that helps with estamating, i they took my name and emailed me back.
150 an hour for an estamate. RIP soundcloud rappers
That's interesting... have you tried looking around online for some examples for similar estimates or documentation for something on the scale of the brand you're working with?
Good lookin'

Anybody have any contacts with Live Nation? I typically get good responses/feedback when I inquire about covering a show or an event outside of them.
Anytime it's a Live Nation show...
Fill out an automated media request form for them to ignore. And most all of the venues give you shyt for trying to get in with a legit camera
