Cop the 35mm 1.8 G. Its not worth the effort using the stock lenses. Also look into photoshop and light room for photo editing.

I took my first good photo once i got that lens.

I was using a nikon d60 at the time haha.


All you need right now is a prime lens. It will teach you how to compose your shots and give you the ability to shoot in low light.

I took my first good photo once i got that lens.

I was using a nikon d60 at the time haha.


All you need right now is a prime lens. It will teach you how to compose your shots and give you the ability to shoot in low light.

thanks breh... that's exactly what i'm seeing from y'alls pics to mine.. my compose is all over the place and my low light is terrible


but i'm going to stick with it

Looking to finish up my home studio set up. What kind of backdrops do you use? Thinking of just getting a green one so I can change it up in post to whatever I want.

Looking to finish up my home studio set up. What kind of backdrops do you use? Thinking of just getting a green one so I can change it up in post to whatever I want.


I use those seamless paper backdrops. 50 foot rolls that come in 5 and 10 foot lengths. They are like 40 bucks and If the client or record label needs a color I don't have or I'm running out of then I bill them for a new roll.

I'd advise against a green screen cause it looks fake and you can tweak the background colors in photoshop.

You tape them on a wall or do you hang them? Is paper good for hanging?
