doing my first ever shoot this saturday and i'm pretty excited. setting is in a downtown type of area in the afternoon/night. planning to head down there tomorrow and get some test shots in and pick up some more ideas.

anyone care to share some tips for doing photoshoots? :lupe:

I can get the EXIF info... I guess. But why block the camera used though? Sometimes I'm just curious to know what gear was used for a particular shot.

It makes them feel special, they dont want people to buy what they have. Most people see image quality and think its a great pic, if you have a winning combo of cam and lens, and others get it too, then to the average person they might look similar, therefore adding more competition for those trying to make money off of it

I guess that's true.

It's funny to me though... regardless of how much of the same gear somebody has that you have, creativity and an eye for the right shot isn't going to magically reside in you because you have the same camera/settings that someone else uses.

But that's just my take on it

Thanks to gloves pics i think im figuring out how to use my camera better. There are settings that i didnt even know had option menus that allow you to tweak the quality of the image. What a great thread.
