I love my NEX and it's ability to adapt to legacy lenses... but shooting manual is a pain in the ass. Even with focus peaking.

I took over 300 pics this weekend and so many candid shots were ruined because the focus was off just a smidget.

Or it could be that I was trying to use a 50mm lens for everything.

but i luhhs that bokeh and that 16mm pancake lens just isn't sexy enough for me.

I can't do manual I have a few lenses just to hard

both got good reviews, but not sure why there is a considerable price difference.

i got a t3i, 50mm f1.8 and tokina 11-16mm. Both dope lenses.

Anybody have suggestions/tricks for keeping your subject in focus at all times? I am forcing myself to shoot manual/aperture priority and when I look in my viewfinder things look crisp....I then occasionally chimp (no c00n) and look at my lcd display and things look good...

...but then when I import everything to lightroom half my shots gotta be deleted cause they werent in focus ....why is that?

Im still shooting with my 50mm 1.4 and it dont matter whether I increase or decrease my aperture...Im still getting like 50% out of focus images.
