So now that the games out, looks like these UI leaks were true after all
alleged leak. Take it with a grain of salt.
I’m on XBSX as well, hooked up to the Odyssey G7 120 hz monitor. Try to stick with settings for a while to see if it works for you or not. Don’t change it every game. I recently just settled on my sens, but I didn’t change it every game. Give it time. Figure out what type of player you are and what you’re looking for in game.
Here are my controller and video/audio/ui settings. All of my zoom levels are set to 1.1 btw. I play Bumper Jumper with melee and equipment swapped.
all offsets are set to the same numbers

Yup. That mission made it abundantly clear and the conservatory area following it gets hairy as well. The further you progress the more it's like wtf lmao. I had to cheese one of the bosses, no shame. Kept getting suplexed across the damn screen and said fukk it... found me a ledge and made it happen.

I been playing with the default button scheme but I’m gonna have to swap the Melee & crouch buttons now because I be accidentally hitting melee when I clench down on the right analog stick in tense moments
I use the paddles on the elite controller for sliding and crouching so I just need to do a simple button map edit to keep that the same, however it’s gonna take a bit to get used to using the B button for melee. I’ve literally never pressed the B button in all my time with the test flights, multiplayer, and campaign because I had it mapped to the paddle

This YouTube channel is dope. It has a ton of multiplayer tips and strategies but most of their videos are under a minute long with no extra filler or some kook at the beginning asking you to subscribe

that controller is a lifesaver
I actually swapped out the large paddles for another set of those smaller ones because I don’t like how the larger paddles make me hold the controller. It’s like I just have 4 extra buttons in the back of the controller.
On the left side I have one paddle to mark enemies while aiming and the other to switch grenades. On the right side I have one set to crouch, and the other one set as shift key that makes the two paddles on the other side a record&screenshot combo
