Raiders are hiring Gerald Alexander as their safeties coach, per source.

Alexander spent the last 2 seasons as Steelers assistant defensive backs coach. He also ran Dolphins DB room from 2020-21 where he became a favorite for many players. Now, he aims to do it again in Vegas.

RAIDER NEWS: Raiders ask permission to interview Bucs QBs coach Thad Lewis most likely for their OC position.

Lewis, 36, is considered a rising star in NFL circles. He was promoted to quarterbacks coach with the Bucs this season. Raider keep with their theme former player coaches.

I think Edgar Bennett should be interviewed for the OC position, he's been a great RB Coach and WR Coach, former GB 1,000 yard running back that played under Mike Holgrem and Offensive Coordinator Sherman Lewis (who should of been an NFL Head Coach)that also had Andy Reid on the staff so he knows offense
