Not to defend McDaniels cuz he fukking sucks as a head coach, but let’s be real. The raiders had to to go on a 4 game win streak and get some luck from other teams just to get into the playoffs last season. They still had a negative point differential at the end of the season. It’s not like they were some great team last season either.
