Anything earlier than a Note9 is worth dumping to upgrade to this. I especially couldn't imagine using a Note7 today. That screen is like a whole inch smaller than a Note10+. Samsung phones are never worth holding onto more than a year because you get way better trade in value if you do yearly upgrades. They give $600 for a Note9 towards the 10+ so that's getting one for $400 out of pocket if you get the smallest storage. Mine was $400 for the 256. Didn't need more because of the SD Card slot.

Do you even own the S10?

The fingerprint scanner is horrendous. I'd advise anyone with a S9 or Note9 to keep them an skip this year's phones all together. It's swipe your finger on the sensor instead of press and hold it Galaxy S5 bad. I would say 35-40% of the time the damn thing says No Match when I press my finger on the glass. Sometimes it takes 2-3 takes to unlock.
This is the case with all the Samsung "features". Half of them are unreliable as hell.

R=G is a known Samsung fanboy and likely works as a janitor in a Samsung store. Don't believe the hype.

The inscreen sensor isn't too bad honestly.
It's been improved. It's mostly accurate now but the placement has changed from the S10+ so at least for me it's not as easy to hit screen off. The power button placement is pretty bad though. Outside of that I have no issues with the phone. It is a notably larger phone than the S10+. For me because I like the Note series better and got a free $700 off the phone it was worth the upgrade. Once I sell the S10+ I'll be set.

I bought a defective S10+ from Samsung and had to charge them back because at the time they refused to deal with it. My credit card company refunded me for the purchase and left me with the phone anyway. I traded in the defective phone and got $600 + $100 off the Note10+ at Best Buy. Since I now have the Note I plan to sell my working S10+ I bought to cover the rest of the cost.
