The hip hop soundtrack and references were dope throughout the series especially in the 'Dwyck' episode

white cac cop " lemonade is a popular drink"

Misty looks at him in disgust " and it still is"

:banderas:
Cottonmouth and the director are die hard hip hop heads. Y'all do know before mahershala Ali was acting he was spitting And extended member of the hieroglyphics?

Alot of whites cant relate hating on this show... :coffee:

Facebook comments keep repeating these phrases like Culturally rich, AFRO-american Propaganda, Unrelatable, Horrible show... :francis:

Do white people and others constantly say this shyt about other foreign film & movie projects???:dahell:

Or is it because this show was overwhelmingly BLACK... :beli::patrice:

If thats how the comicbook homies feel then :camby:
This shyt is :banderas:

DD, JJ an LC all pretty fire honestly, but all the Harlem vibes LC has makes it at least 3x better in my opinion
the one thing I took away was that the creators made SURE they touched base on civil rights issues and history. Sure this is a comic book story but most importantly, its a BLACK hero in an environment alot of troubled black youth can identify with
