overall this is by far the weakest link. Nothing memorable and the acting was hit and miss. Davos was one of the shining moments in this season, hopefully he turns into Steele Serpent". The things that irked me the most was the whole forced love interest/sibling story. shyt felt mad forced and all the actors involved with said relationships absolutely had no chemistry to make me feel for them. Harold was a cool villian but Fisk>Nobu>Cottonmouth>Gao>Stryker in that order gave me enjoyment. Finn Jones just ain't going to cut it and being Luke is his broly, I don't know. Not even upset that Marvel stayed true to the character being Caucasian, I just think this was a quick "let's cast duke because he was apart of a hot show. The fighting was meh and it could have been fresher showing more styles then just basics and weapons. They wasted the whole druken master fight which makes me really appreciate Jackie Chan. The "4" deadly venoms(couldn't even get a whole 5, was pretty damn wack.i can't front when he did punch the ground in the finale, I was hype as fukk but that quickly came to a halt with that wack ass Die Hard ending, plus we know this nikka ain't dead because they didn't cut his head off. I really think this could have been special with the right lead and writers. Funny thing is Rosario and the actress that plays Gao carried the fukk out of this season. Not to mention how bad the fighting sequences were when you could clearly see the stunt doubles from real actors. Even though JJ was a hard grind as well, by episode 8, things started to fit and pick up. Which leads to the next gripe about Marvel Netflix. The trend of the hero getting hurt from episode 8-11, which flashbacks, other character struggles and mundane exposition needs to be changed up. They are following this formula too much and it does bring down enjoyment, that's what hurt DD2/Luke the most. The season started off hot then they went lukewarm to an okay finish. They really need to re-evaluate the pace of each episode and maybe condense to just 10 episodes total. Overall I give Iron Fist 2 out of 5. So much could have been made of this, especially for fans that loved those 70s-80s karate/Kung fu flicks. Not knocking anyone who finds this dope but just didn't move me like I hoped for
