The dialogue for example was horrid, it didn't help that some of the actors weren't that good either, for example Joy. She's by far the most boring and annoying person in this show, she's 2x worse than Karen from Daredevil and that's saying a lot. Colleen was also pretty boring and I said in a previous comment that I couldn't pay attention to anything other than her body. However her fight scenes were good so that's a minor plus. Finn was the worst. Dude has no heart and comes off really bland. He doesn't have a presence like Luke Cage or Matt Murdoch does. His fighting scenes were really choppy as well, even with his iron fist it wasn't that engaging. Best thing about him I guess would be his taste in music.

Another bad quality of the show includes pacing. Combine that with the dialogue and it became a chore to get through it and I've never wanted to fast forward or even take a break binge watching a marvel netflix show, ever, but I did for the first time and that was saddening. I'm not gonna comment much on the fighting, as people have already said enough about it. All I'll say is that it was poor as a whole.

I will say that some characters were entertaining. Madame Gao was cool, she's always had my interest since Daredevil and her playing mind games with everyone was the best part of the show. Harold was also a good villain, it was almost disappointing when he got killed the first time because he was one of the highlight of the show. Claire of course was a good touch of humour and big up to her for reppin Luke with the "sweet christmas" line every once in a while. Her taking out someone from the hand was kinda goofy though.

My rating would be a 3.5/5. I'm still looking forward to Defenders but I'd be straight lying if I gave a damn about wanting to see Finn in that lineup lol

I liked it, yeah wasn't as good as DD or Luke Cage but it isn't terrible like the critics and reviews tried to make out.

Fight scenes weren't all that which is odd considering this is Iron Fist, I wonder whether it was a different choreographerto DD because the fight scenes in DD are some of the GOAT.

I think they can make quite a few improvements for season 2 and I'm sure they'll make adjustments.

By comparison, Iron Fist retrod a bunch of stuff we'd seen in Daredevil Season 1 with the paper-trails, The Hand and assorted kung-fu treachery. shyt - he's the third rich White male character to have travelled out East and come back a superhero.

It felt like it's an adequate first season, but they needed to have the stoy feed into The Defenders.

I'm also guessing that it's possible that the guy who plays Danny had the best audition chemistry with Mike Colter, because there didn't feel like aan overriding reason to cast him in this.

Tournament Of The Immortal Weapons in Season 2 or GTFO.

biggest gripe I had as well it's like we've seen 2 seasons of something similar to this already only much better..I thought we were going to see a lot of mystical shyt to sort of draw a line between the 2 series but they kept it mostly grounded. Out of all the shows this was the 1st that didn't feel well thought out or produced.

I don't know if they were kayfabing but there was a Skype interview they did with Loeb were they said that interview was there first time seeing each other so I am not so sure they chem tested the two
