Does that mean that she was intentionally playing dumb when Mobley and Cisco were training her up for the femtocell hack? :jbhmm:

Also - what was with Irving/Angela's code word exchange when they spoke on the phone?:leon:

I think the two words were "Blankenship" and "Mentor".

The only pop culture Blankenship I can think of is the secretary from Mad Men - which was another show about a man with two identities. But that's probably a reach :manny:

She probably was, you should never reveal all the cards you have and keep people guessing about you. That's why Whiterose had to meet with Angela personally because on paper in Whiterose's eyes "You should have been dead yet you are somehow still alive" yet in real live there's still mystery of what Angela is capable of and what her desire of revenge will allow her to be capable of.

Hell thecoli is guilty of this too. Since Season 1 we labeled her "Beta" and we still jokingly call her that.... yet as we see her in Season 3 she is far from that.

True.:ehh:

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if we find out she has a Mr Robot in the form of her mom, driving her on.

The look on her face at the end of the episode after she met Sandwich Guy was so different from her demeanor in the rest of the episode. It was like seeing The Red Wheelbarrow bag switched her Beta persona back on.

They referenced Loyd Blankenship with the first code words

Loyd Blankenship (born 1965), better known by his pseudonym The Mentor, is a well-known computer hacker and writer. He has been active since the 1970s, when he was a member of the hacker groups Extasyy Elite and Legion of Doom.

He is the author of the Hacker Manifesto (originally titled The Conscience of a Hacker); the essay was written after he was arrested, and was published in the ezine Phrack.[1] Since the essay's publication in 1986, it has been the subject of numerous panels and T-shirts.[2]

Role-playing games
Blankenship was hired by Steve Jackson Games in 1989.[3] He authored the cyberpunk role-playing sourcebook GURPS Cyberpunk, the manuscript of which was seized in a 1990 raid of Steve Jackson Games headquarters by the U.S. Secret Service.[4][5] The raid resulted in the subsequent legal case Steve Jackson Games, Inc. v. United States Secret Service.
