I highly recommend it.
It's about an antisocial computer hacker turned vigilante who is trying to take down one of the biggest corporations in the world. The writing, cinematography and musical choices are A+....also the show is extremely accurate when it comes to technology and hacking. Real life hackers watch it like
because this level of detail has never been shown in TV or movies. You can watch the show just fine without knowing about that kind of stuff but every hack or gadget or computer scene apparently exists or can be done in real life. Or at least a close facsimile of it.That's all I can say really, without going into spoiler territory. Season one heavily borrows from another work of fiction....I won't say what, but it'll probably be obvious to you early on....but season 2 and 3 are completely original and IMO surpass what inspired "Mr. Robot".
Also the show can be a bit of a mind fukk, especially season 2.
