Im :what: cuz I did a tutorial today and my company was like what the hell is that pointing to my zip drive. Said why does it use nintendo cartridges:mad: any of y'all got the maschine

Im a mpc stan. But honestly if you really dont care about stuff like that. Get a maschine. Its better. However its a controller not a actual mpc. So it will only work if you connect it to ya computer. You also gon need the software to utilizae its maximum potential. So overall its gon run you like 650.

everyones telling me it can be a stand alone sequencer, like the MP you can make beats without turning your computer on.. I don't know if this is true but, if so im :stylin: for only $600

They may have meant stand alone like you can use the program without opening your daw.

Also on the original Maschine you can use the controller without looking at your PC monitor because everything can be seen for the OG controller screen.

You can mod ya shyt so it reads sd cards. But im not gon front its soo annoying just taking it apart and installing, that I rather jus sell the 2000 and cop the 2500.

Just found one on craigslist out N.E Philly :pachaha: $399.. So it's either get that, or get it from a store with warranty for 600 plus hmmm...

Make sure it's not the academic version, the software license is non transferable.

for yall that mod your shyt, im tired of taking literally an hour before each performence and setting up everything from samples to drums =(. since making the change from the 3000 (which i had to sell) and copping the 2000xl i have some questions

can you really mod it for usb usage?
installing internal drives, do them shyts die on you? id hate to lose all that shyt

adjusting from the 3000 to the 2000 was difficult for me, which is why i had to ask that question about overlaying samples, but since ivebeen performing live again, i really need storage memory

I'm this close to putting my 3000 up for sale. As much as I love it I haven't even turned it on in over a month. Been having fun with Battery and Abbey Roads drums and chopping with kontakt (which I didn't even know you could do until recently). I think at this point i'm holding on to it for nostalgic reasons
