He is champ. Did you miss the first fight? Or even the first round in this one? He was doing a better job checking kicks then in the first fight. He gave respect to Silva in his interview with Rogan. Nothing to hate him for. Would of liked to see Silva win, but Weidman did nothing wrong.

BTW was talking to a very close friend of mine who does personal security for some ufc fighters and is friends with Jones. My friend has been working on some tours doing security so hasn't been around much but he was back in town for xmas, and he told me he talked to Jones after the Gus fight and Jones told em with the most serious fan that he is NEVER giving Gus a rematch. He said that was the hardest fight in his hell an dis still shocked he won. He said he was fighting off pure muscle memory and instinct as he blacked out for parts of the fight. He has told Dana and Lorenzo that he will fight any1 and will even go up in weight class just to avoid fighting Gus.

That's interesting but I see a different reason this rematch won't happen. One of them is gonna lose their next fight IMO. The way things have been going so far I have a feeling something odd will prevent Gus vs Jones 2 from going down.

the second weidman checked that kick he knew, saw and heard that Silva snapped his leg, he should've acted like a true pro and reached out to help catch silva before he fell. Then stand and offer a hand to attend to him on the ground, start waving in for medical crews in the ring. Instead, go back and watch Weidmans face, he looked relieved like some1 just saved his life. dude thru up his hands and was looking to running around the ring with his arms up screaming YES like he's in WWE or something. Thats not cool. that shows me even thought he was gonna lose and got lucky.

Their saying the entire back rooms of the arena all you could hear was Silva still screaming in agony, meanwhile this kid is walking around like he really beat the great 1. He should've been 10x more humble and gracious.
