If Brock remembers he is a wrestler first and more athletic he can beat Roy by wearing on him like Stipe and Cormier did IMO. Brock gets lit up by body shots and combos which aren't threats Roy poses.

He's a draw obviously but I really don't want him to go back. He was VERY mentally checked out of the idea of fighting when he left so this would be a strict cash grab.

Weidman got booed loudly at the weigh ins :leon: I'm kind of shocked in a way

I think the fans are realizing they're either gonna see Anderson get the belt back, or watch the career of the GOAT come to a close.

sounds about right, if silva looks human and loses again its only going to punctuate what i've been saying for the longest time that mma fans really took his highlight reel wins for granted and they aint going to fully appreciate what was achieved until he goes.To think there were morons that would say

"i am not watching an anderson fight"
"why"
"because he wins all the time and showboats"

only in a sport followed by predominately white ppl :snoop:

guys, what do you think about Brock potentially returning to fight Roy Nelson in the UFC ?

http://mmajunkie.com/2013/12/video-is-brock-lesnar-returning-to-ufc-dana-white-doesnt-know/

The buzz on social media this past week is that former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is returning to the octagon.

But if he is, UFC President Dana White isn’t giving anything up.

“Really?” White said quizzically when asked whether Lesnar was attending Saturday’s UFC 168. “I don’t know. I honestly don’t know.”

Honestly?

“Honestly,” White told MMAjunkie. “I don’t know.”

What White does know is that a Lesnar (5-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) return would be huge for the UFC’s business. The hulking heavyweight did big numbers each time he fought on pay-per-view, reportedly cracking the 1 million buy mark on four occasions.

But regardless of whether or not the UFC executive has something up his sleeve, his response is likely to generate a fresh round of speculation on Lesnar’s return, which has persisted despite his retirement in late 2011.

In late 2012, White said Lesnar contemplated fighting again, but was “never coming back.”

Lesnar debuted in the octagon at UFC 81 and beat Randy Couture to take the belt at UFC 91. His title reign lasted nearly two years before Cain Velasquez defeated him at UFC 121.

During his UFC career, Lesnar suffered multiple bouts of diverticulitis, an intestinal disorder, and underwent surgery after a second bout. He retired following a first-round TKO loss to Alistair Overeem at UFC 140.

Lesnar subsequently signed a contract with pro-wrestling leader WWE, where he first became a star and won a title. He most recently appeared in the wrestling ring for the promotion’s “Summer Slam” series.
its not happening, i saw it in his eyes when cain gave him the beats it was all fun and games until he actually got hurt and that fight was a wake up call. He has a family and a concerned wife in his ear but most importantly a rare disease thats basically made him radically change his diet which ruined his career.I am not even interested to ever see brock again tbh, the way he went out was somewhat poetic considering the way he came in :manny:

What would be a more mind-blowing ending in the main event fights?

Weidman knocking Anderson out cold in the FIRST round this time? :lupe:

...or Miesha finishing Ronda in the first....

....via ARMBAR? :damn:

Man GTFOH, half of the 168 thread is dumbasses saying they have no reason to watch MMA anymore because Anderson is finished. Don't get me wrong, Anderson is amazing and the GOAT up until this point but if you're only watching a sport because the champion is black then your opinion doesn't mean shyt anyway.
