So you dont think throughout the many years of Anderson Silva's life in fighting and training in brazillian that he hasn't thrown a million leg kicks by now? And I didn't say he literatelly was screaming yes like a WWE fighter, I was using it as a comparison to show the level of elation that Weidman had. The moment Silva went down hurt he was elated and happy just like when WWE fighters run around the ring screaming Yes.
Bsmooth you know ur mma but you need to brush on your reading skills to fully understand the point I was making. Weidman didn't handle that win like I would think a real champ or pro should've. He looked like he got lucky, his 1st and natural instant was to cheer and do a victory lap and to me that is poor sportsmanship, especially when fighting a legend like Silva. Did he do the whole consoling thing after, yeah sure he did. But it wasn't his 1st or 2nd concern which is troubling to me. The reason I say to me is because I've been a Wiedman fan for a long time and he's always had an image of the good squeaky clean kid, always the underdog, Mr. nice guy with deadly skills. And this fight he really showed a darkside like it was all an act. Just like the moment with Jon Jones and his coach when he's caught saying to Jones to get some fans, since that point Jones' image has taken a downward turn.
if you don't agree, then dont agree, but i know if was me in a fight against you and you just snapped ur leg I would be trying to catch you first, and I wouldn't raise my arms up in victory not once. When the ref makes the announcement after, 1st thing I would say is I don't deserve this belt and next fight I will earn it and give it the respect Silva has done all these years.
