The issue with Jones is he knows he’s not getting that amount of money. Connor fresh off 50 million with Floyd is getting 5 million show money. And Jones despite all the accolades and accomplishments has never been that massive of a seller in terms of buys. I’m all for the fighters getting paid but just like in WWE until the fighters do something about it, Zuffa or whatever the Emmanuel brother is calling himself will continue to be cheap. So either Jones is angling high to get what he really wants or he’s just flat out capping. I still don’t think we will ever see him fight again

Lol @ MMA fans shytting on Jones in the comments, MMA fans really let Dana White dictate what they think fighters should make. Wilder made around $20M to fight Breazale on Showtime but Jones asking for more than $10 for a mega fight with Francis on ppv is too much.

If this fight were to happen this year it would be the biggest UFC to date probably on all metrics. Pay him.

He and francis have a decent if not good relationship

Exactly. Dana opens up every post-PPV press conference bragging about how much they made with the gate and project PPV buys. I'm not understanding the beef that people have with Jones about this.

I'm glad that Francis has been refuting Dana's talking points in interviews and saying that he knows Jon Jones isn't scared of him and that he wants the fight. I'd rather both him and Jon speak the truth and get paid, as opposed to Francis just becoming a company guy, which he easily could.

I see Jones point but looking at this from the UFC’s end, what happens if they make the fight, guarantee Jones the money he wants and he fukks up again? This by all expectations will be a massive fight and we’ve seen what that extra pressure does to Jon.
