Whenever it comes to all the petty/toxic soundbytes between Jones and the UFC, I always think back to the night of Jones/Cormier II and how for that brief moment following the fight Jones was back on top of the world and his mystique was at all time levels...

Back in the good graces of everyone and even had that elusive superfight at heavyweight lined up perfectly (vs Brock at the time).

And then... he fukked up. :francis:

And now here we are 4 years later with Jones still lookin for a superfight to cash-out on, with his mystique gone and everyone kinda just lookin on like :francis:

UFC bent over backwards for Jon anytime he fukked up, he’s full of shyt with this “woe is me” act. Anyone else would’ve been cut and banned from the UFC pulling the shyt he pulled.

:gucci: Jon was stripped of his title THREE TIMES for disciplinary reasons. Conor McGregor has multiple open rape cases in Dublin, beat the shyt out of a senior citizen in a bar, attacked UFC employees and fighters with his entourage at a media event and almost blinded one in the process, beat up and stole a fan's phone... never once faced any kind of disciplinary action for ANY of that whatsoever. :unimpressed:

The fact that idiots ALWAYS lap up Dana's scumbag public negotiating tactics is hilarious and mindboggling to me. The fighter himself Francis says Jon isn't scared and obviously just wants a proper payday for the biggest fight you can make in this sport right now. Daniel Cormier who probably hates Jon more than any human on earth agrees with him. But y'all are gonna side with and believe the word of the bald roided up cac who opened up for Trump at the RNC, over the fighters who get paid 17% of the revenue generated by the fights and PPVs????? :mindblown::martin: And for what??? So the most exciting fight the sport has seen in 5+ years never gets made and we get some bullshyt like Ngannou vs. Lewis II that probably ends in the exact same pathetic manner as the first one in it's place???? :unimpressed:

Francis the new face of ufc:blessed:
I still need him to erase that Derrick Lewis debacle.

But he's like a company man; very coachable. Just hope he has good financial advisors. He can become a big force in Cameroon if he chooses. The amount of money, attention, and possibly political clout can be enormous. Dunno if I want him tainting his image with politricks.

Anyone else would’ve been banned from the UFC for the type of shyt Jon and Conor pulled. I’m not siding with Dana, nor do I think Jones is scared. I’m pointing out that Jon saying he’s been mistreated is laughable when he’s been allowed to get away with everything outside of murder.

Man, y'all gotta realize that all this Jones/Dana White shyt is bullshyt and part of the negotiation and posturing. Dana paints Jon as scared of Francis to get the public on his side, Jon takes his ball and goes home, knowing that he's the biggest payday that Francis is going to get in the foreseeable future. Both Jones' and Francis' trainers were on MMA broadcasts today doing multiple interviews, speaking for their fighters so that their fighters don't have to talk.

Conor has "quit" the company like three different times and does this shyt after every fight. Before Floyd and Manny finally fought, there was about a decade of this. It's fun to weigh in and whatnot but also know when you're being used to be part of the noise.

Yeah that's true it's a negotiation tactic from Dana, he knows Jones/Ngannou is the fight to make, but if you read between the lines he was basically letting Jon know in the post fight press conference that they're not going to prolong negotiations if both sides can't agree, which is why he brought up Lewis as the possible next opponent as a guy who's ready to go

I also feel like Jon was expecting Stipe to win, and that's who he had his eyes on which is why he waited until after the result of DC/Miocic 3 to officially vacate the title. And now that Ngannou won its a much riskier fight which is why he's trying to get compensated, the problem is he's not in the best position by coming off three lackluster (for his standards) performances, so I can definitely see Dana just moving onto giving Lewis the shot

Nah, I definitely don't expect them to prolong negotiations, and Dana made that clear. The thing is, even if they don't do it for the next one, this Jones fight is never going to stop being the elephant in the room and will become a necessity sooner than later. Francis has already beaten most of the top contenders, including Blaydes twice.

After Lewis, Gane probably needs a fight or two before he gets there. I see Stipe taking a long time off. You could do a Volkov fight. The division is filled with a lot of guys with no name recognition who are a long way from the title.

Francis is also 34. If they want to cash in on his potential star power and earning potential, him and Jones need each other sooner than later, even if it's not for the first title defense.

Easy dub for Edwards as long as something ridiculous doesn't happen again, glad he got a big fight

Glad to see them finally investing in Leon. Exposing him to the viewership that Diaz gets only helps him and makes the division stronger. Leon isn't afraid to talk some shyt either if the buildup gets that way. Shouldn't be a hard win, so this is the perfect brand-building, tune-up, money fight while he waits for Usman to beat Masvidal again.

Not to mention, if Nate loses, it wasn't like it was to a chump. So he won't necessarily get hurt too bad to spread the money around some more. I like it when fight booking makes sense :ehh:

That’s the great thing about Francis, he’s still teachable and willing to be taught. Kinda mind blowing that Teddy has been involved with two of the scariest combat athletes of all time.
:salute: to Stipe, glad he’s ok and he’s a class act.

coming in, i thought it'd be somewhat similar to their last fight, stipe would out-work and out-technique him. especially because ngannou looked so sloppy last time out against rozenstruck (sp?).

but from the start, he already looked better. then after francis stuffed him hard and punished him...he made miocic pay for that takedown attempt. i was like uh oh. :ohhh:

then the rest happened.

with that performance it seems like he's putting it all together which is scary for everyone in his division.

btw, was stipe smaller or? the size difference seemed even bigger than last time. and his stupid ass hairdo didn't help either. shyt looked like it belonged to a some rich fukk up named 'chet' who's still drunk and coked up after an hour's sleep and had to make a 6:30 tee time with his dad at the country club. or else.
