Yeah, I feel the same way. He won the belt in both Strikeforce and UFC and has nothing left to prove. Especially if the promoters are going to be stingy while he's putting his health on the line. Go build your brand and network and keep getting paid what you're worth.

He literally started talking about pay after the ngannou fight with stipe.i know he aired out his grievance the first time last year, just seems weird that hes training and talking up a potential bout with either stipe/ngannou then its back to pay dispute

And he really doesnt have leverage, ufc will just book derrick lewis for a fraction of the price if he prices himself out

thats because we knew jon was moving up but we didnt know who he was going to face. stipe v jon isnt going to do numbers that francis v jon are going to make. had francis lost, it wouldnt have generated as much either, so he wanted to see who'd win. now since patient francis 2.0 is the fukking scariest man in the ufc, he can now ask for cash.

everyone is saying its deserved even dc and francis. if he's going to risk getting put to sleep, he should get some cash. didnt conor make like 5mil off a damn dustin fight? nah if you're going to throw me in there with francis fukking ngannou you better pay me something. its a reasonable price.

Im not saying it's not deserve, he just didn't go about it the right way :yeshrug: in my opinion.

He could have stuck to his guns and said hes not fighting until his terms are met :yeshrug:

edit: Jon's coach said he should make $50 mil. Dana is saying Jon is asking for 30 mil. now see here is where I jump off the bandwagon. Deontay and Fury 1, Wilder made 30 mil and thats heavyweight BOXING. there is no god damn way his fights will generate a big heavyweight boxing match. I was with him at 10 mil + ppv, that seems reasonable, but 30? bring on Lewis
