I use to have respect for mighty mouse, but sorry that's all gone. It's 1 thing to let the ufc hype train say ur the best. But don't start believing it and saying it in the ring. Your not even close to best of all time. Not even in top 10 consideration. Wins are just wins. That doesn't mean the best, u gotta beat greats if u wanna be greater and really mighty mouse I don't think ne1 you have beaten in dis streak is remarkable in any way in the ufc. Bunch of scrubs.
:mjgrin:Bunch of scrubs? Benavidez was #2 at Bantamweight, Dodson is still great and top 10 at Bantamweight and Kyoji is still great. People shyt on DJ because they don't pay close enough attention to his opponents or don't think he's exciting enough but his opponents have stood the test of time, unlike most other guys who are considered GOAT. I still have GSP, Jones, Fedor and Silva ahead of him but DJ is undeniable in the top 5 of all time and he hasn't fought a single scrub in his title win, unlike some of them. Cariaso and Reis had no business fighting DJ but they aren't Travis Lutter.

Dodson and Benevidez are legit but Cejudo has been overrated from the jump just because of his background.

If DJ beats a Garbrandt or Dillashaw, I'll entertain the G.O.A.T but beating guys like Reiss or Tim Elliot does absolutely nothing for me
Why does DJ have to jump up to prove that? Especially since he was already a top 5 Bantamweight, GSP hasn't moved up until now and Jones has never touched Heavyweight. Only Silva has higher weight class wins worth mentioning out of the GOATs and those are Forrest Griffin and I think Jeremy Horn:mjlol:

They can cool it with Woodley Conor give me Cormier jones 2. For Woodley to beat Conor he's going to need to use BOTH hands not that predictable overhead right and also needs to use his kicks and wrestling.
You're fcking kidding me..Woodley would eat Conor, standing or on the ground.

The ground is no contest but I'm like Jones when he was talking about the match up. You can telegraph his right from 3 miles away. Conor isn't stupid. He's going to have to mix it up and it just always look for the homerun let it come.

I think Woodley would win too.

Conor's power doesn't translate at WW. Not even against a LW. Woodley would eventually but him to sleep. If Woodley can get past the defense of a tall Karate champ then I see him having no problem smashing a FW.

So Jones vs Cormier won't happen on the big card in the beginning of July but could happen on July 29th if Jones wants it or it will be Cormier vs Jimi

Ufc hype train really has sum of u thinkin krazy. Dodson is a blip on da mma radar. What has he truly really done to be considered great?

Loss to dj
Loss to lineker wow
Win over Montague, Manny and Markovsky.
Maybe da biggest win he has under his belt is a ultimate fighter win over tj.

UFC is doing what boxing has been doin from yrs hype up mediocre fighters inflat they wins and then have a hype beast beat em and claim ohhh woow huge win.

Sorry that doesn't work on em, DJ had a nice record vs middle tier fodder and sum guys who have no right being in a prime time bout (Reis)

Anderson has faced sum of this too but St least he sprinkled in some quality w's. Same wit GSP for every waste mon like hardy u have a quality win over a bj or Hughes.

This is reason y I got bones Jones, Fedor in such a high standing they resumes don't lie. U can argue bout Jones being unreliable but that's business, as a fighter he a beast in dat ring.

I need Aldo and Cruz to get some love

Mighty house has beaten bigger, better and greater fighters than aldo and Cruz ever had. So obviously aldo and Cruz cnt get ne love.

Maybe if aldo had beaten the great John Dodson or legendary Benevidez twice then he wld be recognized as the best of all time like DJ, hahahahahaha.

With this type of ranking system Kimbo slice is a p4p legend

I would love to see Cruz in a rematch with Garbrandt. That will let us all know where he stands.

Aldo has a lot to prove. Sounds crazy for a guy with 1 loss in a decade, but it's the way responded to the loss. If I get starched in the first round in under a minute, and then I'm offered a rematch, no way in the world I turn that down.

And maybe I'm bugging but I still want to see Jones take a tune up first. He has not fought in more than a year and he looked mediocre against OSP. But then again Jones is a special fighter.

Because they are calling him the GOAT when in reality he's just doing a lengthened version of what BJ did in 2009. Is he a really good fighter? Without a doubt to string together more than 5 wins (let alone 10) is no easy feat especially title defences where you are finishing. But the true litmus test of the greatest is the level of competition/level of difficulty against adversity.

Like what have his opponents achieved in their own right against legit comp. Henry Cejudo had only been in MMA 3 years when they fought. John Dodson was upper echelon in the division but has no titles on his resume. And then there is olivi's fella. The rest of the guys he's beat are just guys..I know dana's angle no point in romanticising about Silva and the past when you have the present in DJ in his prime. But fans and mma analyst really cheapen the sport when they start calling DJ the greatest of all time

Ps and for your question about Jones because he faced killers at LHW so we got a proper gauge on just how great he was. And ppl might laugh at silva's move to LHW but Forrest (by hook or crook) beat rampage and shogun and was champion anything can happen in MMA. And it was sandman if he faced horn it was at mw
