Little importance? You brought it up.
brought what up? Dude made a statement that needed correcting where I had to go in detail
And what are you talking about journalist, random interviews, and fighter picks for? You are racing from one goal to another.
no it's called making a point (in regards to bellator's standing) you just can't hack it and argue for argument sake
Bellator is the #2 MMA org in the world and people watch it. And fans would love to see some of them in the UFC. That's fact
shyt TNA is the #2 wrestling org to WWE and ppl watch it but it doesn't make it anymore irrelevant whoops you probably won't understand that reference but will argue it anyway just to argue. Fact is when zuffa bought SF and even before the mere thought of it was a game changer could you say the same if img or whatever their called bought bellator today? Other than fighters losing their bargaining power I wouldnt
Thoughts on a couple of conversations going on since I last visited the thread:
. Bellator has some real talent, but I agree that they haven't marketed it well enough. I can't stand the freak fight cards, they've been awful cards imo. If Bellator handles things well, they can definitely establish themselves as a competitor but right now I don't think they've done enough to sell that talent.

. Feels like some cats just don't ever want to give Conor his due. He did exactly what he had to and got the win over a bigger more durable opponent. He's slept Mendes, Poirier and Aldo plus completely blanked Max Holloway while he was hurt. Dude's just really good. Unless Nate gets much more aggressive in take down attempts, I don't see him winning the rubber match.

. MVP compared to Rory and Wonderboy is tricky as hell. They've done a crappy job of giving him quality opposition whereas Rory and Wonderboy have gotten to test themselves against elite WW's. I think MVP is potentially the best of the three, really should be, but I wish he could get higher quality competition so it'd be easier to measure his growth.
you were on point till about here, Coker seems to be going out of his way to not pit page against a legit wrestler and where have we seen that method before? I believe that was largely Nick diaz's entire strikeforce run. Made for good headlines and fooled the masses into assuming he had improved as a fighter since he left the UFC but he was still the same dude that was feast for wrestlers. I have a sneaky suspicion page has garbage TDD and ground D. If he was competent we would have seen something already.

I feel you fam and definitely agree that they've clearly been shielding him. But I wonder if he got pushed, how he'd respond. We don't know the answer which is why it's a open question, though the longer Coker protects him from wrestlers the more worrisome it gets.

Yes it would be a game changer. Just like WWE buying TNA would be a game changer. You seem to be under the impression that since Bellator is no where near the level of UFC that people don't care, it's floundering, etc.

It's weird. MVP's got potential but he got controlled by Santos on the ground when they fought. I hope they don't feed him to Rory, he dominated the current UFC champ recently. He's a high level WW with elite wrestling, it could get ugly for Page

Luke Rockhold is knocking down Demi Lovato brehs

Secret's out ... Demi Lovato is dating UFC superstar Luke Rockhold -- and TMZ Sports has learned it's a romance that's been blooming for a couple months.

Our sources tell us ... the 24-year-old singer hit it off with the 31-year-old former UFC middleweight champ earlier this year while training at Unbreakable gym in Los Angeles.

Long story short ... we're told the two clicked right away -- and have even sent some secret inside messages to each other on social media ... including a back and forth with smiley face art on their fingers.

Congrats!

I always forget Rockhold is just 31 he looks so much older, when demi was a kid I always thought she'd grow up to be hotter :ehh:knew it was kind of weird how obsessed she was with the sport going to all the shows now we know why.

Ps wow in that "single life aint bad" pic she's got that white lady from the 80s ass down to a science. They still make them?
