There are journalists (so called) and mma talking heads who cover the sport for a living and won't even watch the shows, (not unlike TUF).Even bellator's fighters don't watch the show. How many backstage interviews have we seen where the interviewer turns the tables on the interviewee and asks them to give his or her picks for the nights card and the bellator fighter will be ummming ahhhhhhing before eventually admitting I don't watch this shyt

Little importance? You brought it up. And what are you talking about journalist, random interviews, and fighter picks for? You are racing from one goal to another. Bellator is the #2 MMA org in the world and people watch it. And fans would love to see some of them in the UFC. That's fact

Conor aint stop him when he has more power at 170. Hows he gonna stop him when hes only been stopped once by a perfectly placeleg kick by josh.

How about when conor was fresh with a full camp and nate came to fight on 10 days. What happened then.

What happend was Connor at that time thought anyone he hit clean was hitting the mat. Lets not forget Connor was talking about fighting GSP and Lawler, being a 3 division champ and all that before the Nate fight. He was deluded and he walked into that fight blind.

With all things equal Connor beats Nates ass 10/10 times man. He's champ for a reason, his run to the title wasnt BS. He beat Holloway with a blown knee, ruined Chad Mendes and gave Aldo somthing nobody ever had. Nates never been champ for a reason, he's not dedicated to winning. If he was he'd know howto counter leg kicks and wrestle smaller fighters to the floor so he could sub them.

Thoughts on a couple of conversations going on since I last visited the thread:
. Bellator has some real talent, but I agree that they haven't marketed it well enough. I can't stand the freak fight cards, they've been awful cards imo. If Bellator handles things well, they can definitely establish themselves as a competitor but right now I don't think they've done enough to sell that talent.

. Feels like some cats just don't ever want to give Conor his due. He did exactly what he had to and got the win over a bigger more durable opponent. He's slept Mendes, Poirier and Aldo plus completely blanked Max Holloway while he was hurt. Dude's just really good. Unless Nate gets much more aggressive in take down attempts, I don't see him winning the rubber match.

. MVP compared to Rory and Wonderboy is tricky as hell. They've done a crappy job of giving him quality opposition whereas Rory and Wonderboy have gotten to test themselves against elite WW's. I think MVP is potentially the best of the three, really should be, but I wish he could get higher quality competition so it'd be easier to measure his growth.
