you don't remember strikeforce do you? A lot of the time their shows were more entertaining than the UFC and ppl would always wish the likes of shields, le and Gilbert could face GSP, Anderson and Penn the only group that crowned them as insignificant were threatened UFC fans. Bellator doesn't even have anyone outside of Chandler and probably page that ppl wonder how they'll fare in the UFC. And their shows are largely forgettable, not the same ball park at all
I remember it pretty well. Because most of the Strikeforce fighters never fought against UFC dudes, people assumed they were all cans. Strikeforce had that Heavyweight tournament: Fedor, Alistair, Verdum, Josh Barnett, Antonio Silva, and an unknown dude named Daniel Cormier was an alternate.

But Rockhold, Jacare, even Nick Diaz weren't getting respect on forums. It's going to take time. Bellator ain't there yet but Coker is good at balancing some circus freakshow fights with legit fights to keep casuals and hardcore fans happy. Bellator's going to get there.. That is until the UFC buys them.

I think he made the right adjustments, Nate didn't and that was the big difference. Now if Nate is smart next fight he will make the adjustments and Conor will be in trouble because Nate would be unpredictable. Nate knows his weakness is leg kicks he shoulda done a better job with those and he didn't counter the left Conor was throwing with his check right like the first fight. Conor stuff the TD's but Nate isn't a wrestler.
Dude you're talking about something that has been a Diaz bros weakness their entire career, what fukking adjustments? We still talking about these dudes like they're in their 20s? They are what they are, Connor proved he's the more talented fighter period. Diaz proved he's durable, that's it, fukking over

They have more then Chandler
Name them! name another fighter outside of Chandler and page (to see get epically exposed) that someone with a passing interest would care enough about to see in the UFC. Not warren not pitballs not Strauss not Dundas (unfortunately) not koreshkov not mcgreary (not yet) certainly not Newton or shlemenko and not lawal either

I like your optimism but the landscape has changed from 8-6 years ago.Dynamic prospects don't grow on trees like they use to and if you are any good (with the kind of social media we have now) you'd be on zuffa's radar already. UFC never buys bellator they are owned by Viacom for 1 and let's be honest aren't really setting the world alight with mma clinics. In fact since Coker took over I am struggling to recall anything resembling chandler/alveraz (even tho it's a tad overated)

Just cause a nikka use curse words he's mad? :heh:
Thought you were coming at me sideways or something.

Look the thing with the Diaz's are they come to fight regardless Conor came to win. You gotta be able to play the game. I'm not sure if Diaz cares enough to play the game but if he does then he will make the adjustments. It was in his favor to lose anyway because now he's getting another fight for another nice pay check :manny:

Bellator's also been signing a lot of well decorated wrestling prospects with star potential, Joey Davis debuts this week. Ed Ruth, Aaron Pico, Tyrell Fortune, Jarod Trice and others under contract

How is he the better fighter. Better striker sure, faster and more efficient when striking sure.

But they are 1 and 1. Diaz STOPPED conor on 10 days. Conor beat diaz to a decision that was unconvincing. I personally gave it to nate but have no issue with the decision.

When talkin better fighter we also take into account durability and endurance. Ground game is no question. We aredy forgetting what nate did in the first fight.

Why are people so obsessed about what casuals think? Are you a zuffa exec? I don't care. I'm interested in fights. And they have plenty of guys who I would like to see and who could compete in the UFC
