Doubt it's true but in the slim chance it is I bet it's the Ali act amongst the sport kind of tapering off that's got them wanting to cash out

wouldn't have worked, if he pretended to show interest his release would have been stalled/messy. Coker was quick to release him and air his disgust in interviews/Twitter cuz brooks was becoming a nuisanceAgreed.
He's dumb for openly airing out his issues with Bellator. If he played it smart (pretend he was interested re-signing with Bellator), he would've definitely made more money. I'm pretty sure the UFC offered him a mediocre contract, and he pretty much had no choice but to accept.

The two highest bidders have indicated their desire for White to stay around in a promotional capacity, and both are willing to grant him shares in the company to entice him to stay, rather than making him an employee. It is also believed that very little of the UFC's business operations will change, outside of the Fertitta brothers and Flash Entertainment being out of the picture. Staffing in the production and public relations departments will not change, and matchmakers Joe Silva and Sean Shelby will continue in their roles. This is not to say the company will continue the same operating methods forever; changes could eventually come. But our sources indicated that very little about the way the company is presented to the public will change, at least in the beginning.
Smart moves IMO

The gulf between the stars and average fighter has never been wider. Remember Dana had to be forced to sign conor and Ronda, without their emergence what did the company really have when Jones was getting himself in legal trouble. The sport isn't tapering off. They had their most profitable year ever in 2015 and 2016 looks solid also. Rumor is Ferittitas are trying to buy an NFL team

Even with the biggest rivalry the sport has going they had to run back to a WWE star to give 200 that prestige. Ronda is practically gone and once conor gets exposed by Diaz again his star would have completely faded then what? There is no pride or strikeforce today and bellator hasn't made 1 star.
LHW div is eroding and for the longest time that was the money division. What's the avg age of the HWs again? The forecast doesn't look good for the most part, DJ, Lawler,RDJ,cruz, joanna, miocic aren't box office draws hell I don't even think bisbing can do better than 250k buys tbh
What part of those 2 commodities only coming into the ufc by happenstance and their future drawability bein in doubt don't you understand? Usually when you see the word "forecast" it's about what's to come not what has happened? What part of record profits in 2015 and similar projections this year don't you understand?
