thats for ex champions and big draws. Chad is neither breh. And these rematches might seemed forced(Connor vs Nate, Ronda vs Holly, Weidmans vs Luke) but there's still intrigue regardless, Connor fans think he can beat Nate, Ronda fans think she can beat Holly, etc. nobody outside of team alpha male believes in Chad Mendes right now :yeshrug:
:heh: I hear you breh

I've had multiple casuals I know look at the UFC 200 lineup and say it aint shyt because Connor vs Nate and Ronda vs Holly isnt on it :heh:

I think the numbers are gonna disappoint a little.

Jones and D.C. did 750 by their lonesome...

Meisha got the chick viewers....

And Brock puts them over the top...

It's doing a milly easy....maybe not 1.5 territory...but media will look stupid saying "ufc did 1,000,000 buys on 200...that's a disappointment."

I haven't updated y'all on my brother in a while, but he just won his 4th amateur fight by a TKO in 20 seconds! And his opponent was actually pretty solid. I'll post the video when they put it on YouTube.

He's 4-0 so far with 3 knockouts and a unanimous decision. He will probably be going pro after a few more fights.

Going to fights in-person is on a whole other level vs watching on tv (if the fights are competitive at least). I'll keep you guys updated on him!

How long has he been training. I'm still planning to have my first amateur fight by the end of the year.

He's been training for boxing and jujitsu for about 2 years. He has wrestled since 7th grade and was a part of one of the top wrestling programs for 5 years in college so he had those skills down already. He trained for about a year before he had his first fight, but part of that was because opponents kept backing out (when amateurs recognize someone as a top level college wrestler they get cold feet sometimes).

Good luck, breh! I respect anybody who actually competes in a fight. Plenty of people talk about signing up for one but you can tell who's really about that life when the fights start. How long have you been training? What's your go-to style? My brother is quick as hell so he mostly relies on his boxing despite his wrestling background.

I take Muay Thai and Brazilian Jujutsu. Theres a few fighters at my gym (x3 in Atlanta) and they told me that I have a decent foundation and good technique and to go for it. I picked up Jujutsu surprisingly fast my coach said. I've never taken wrestling though so hopefully I won't run into a strong wrestler in my first match.

My only problems is I have knee issues so I can't train the way I want. I don't wanna go pro, I just wanna get like 3 or 4 fights under my belt so I can tell my grandkids I used to give nikkas that work back in the day

I'm low key excited to have my first fight and surprisingly my girl has been encouraging me to do it. I just don't wanna get knocked out in front of her :merchant:

JimmyV comes out swinging with some strong sentiments about how the NBA finals have been played so far. Both Kosher and JimmyV give major props to James and Irving holding it down for the Cavs in game 5. Lebron shows what he can do what he doesn't have to worry about Draymond being in the game. Kosher still doesn't believe Curry deserves the MVP. Kosher believes Warriors close it out in Cleveland with the return of Green. JimmyV thinks Warriors will close it out in 7.
