I cnt count the number of times fighters use to argue all these small organizations wldnt even pay them half the time. Now they all acting greedy, just like in boxing before.

It really shldnt have much of a personality, it's the sport you love. The fighters come and go but the quality of the sport is what is constant.

If comparing to nfl, Brett Favre left the Packers Rodgers is now the fave. And when Rodgers is gone another packer great qb will take over. Peyton left the Colts, luck is now the man their now.

Ufc was Hughes and liddell and tito and ish moves in then it was bj Penn and gaps, now we got Romero and weidman. The fighters are temporary the sport the ufc is what lives on. Otherwise, jus go watch Bellatrix and glory and etc.

The reason why sport leagues can't get too hooked on personalities is because then the league becomes a hostage to the player. That is never good because the player can't play for ever and you have no control over the player in the real world.

Look at Bones Jones, he was da champ had a Nike deal money was good for him. But ufc can only control him the few mins he's in the ring. Outside the ring, imagine if that pregnant lady died in that car crash? This is the same fighter who left remember early. Who knows what's going on in his personal life, meanwhile the ufc must keep on. Fans still want fights. DC, Rumble, Gus step up and step in the light now.

What roughshot is really going on? You got some guys who want more money. In every company ppl argue and fight for more money. Gotta keep em hungry. Its normal business for employees to want more. I'm not sure what Fortune 500 company has every single employee happy with their job and benefits and doesn't want more money.
