You have too much faith in a company that currently has an antitrust lawsuit against them.
:ehh:Not really just being realistic, 12k before taxes then there is trainers/coaches, travel/rooms and living? For 1 fight every what six or so months? Punish your body for weeks in training camp to get punched repeatedly fight day and walk away with basically nothing? Might as well get a real job and save your braincells

Hey lets just remember, these guys are paid to fight. They are not paid to train. If a fighter wants to take a 3,4 or even 6 month training camp thats on them. Also remember, majority of household name fighters get paid from their gym, as they are marketing tools for the gyms. Numerous fighters sign up to Jacksons, or Tri Star or AKA because of the fighters they see fighting on UFC. These gyms aren't giving Dana and the fertita's a cut of that revenue. Most of these big gyms, got their own sponsorship deals with tshirts, equipment and other brands and are caking loot off that.

Lets stop acting and pretending these guys are starving artists or something begging for money to fight. If the job isn't paying well switch careers, just like everyone else in life. If you can go in a ring for less than 5 mins Duffee and get over 12k, take the money and run. I'm telling you guys as much as we wanna feel for the fighters and low pay compared to boxing. Once those boxers got the nice money the quality of boxing cards and the whole sports has tragically gone down hill. If UFC fighters had a union and started getting paid to train, and paid top dollars for fighting like mayweather and etc, watch how few times you see your favorite fighter actually fight. You barely see them fight now 3 times a year, and they are so called broke and underpaid. Imagine if they were well paid, lucky if we get once a year.

stitch (UFC cornerman) just got fired for speaking out about the reebok deal

How to run a business into the ground 101 :dead:

Employees are only going to take these bullying tactics so long before they start rebelling. And it really sucks for the fighters, because he's a good cut man.

:whoo:

Wooooow.

I was reading the interview yesterday (even thought about posting it in here :ehh:) but didn't think much of it. Definitely didn't think Dana's bytch ass and co. would fire him over it.

Also

Guess Stitch can join that antitrust lawsuit now :sas2:

The UFC is a joke. They already got fighters tweeting good things about the Reebok deal. Khabib, Werdum and Rustam all have the same manager. All three tweets were posted within 15 minutes of each other. Coincidence? :mjlol:

This is just so... bizarre.

It's like no one in the UFC's brass has ever taken a PR course.

They couldn't even space them out over a few hours? :francis:
