This kind of lends to what they were saying about Cowboy Cerrone his last fight. The reason he fights so much is because he spends a shyt ton of money on toys and needs another check. I don't think you will ever see him in a boring fight because he is always hungry.

The guys who like to fight a lot and put on entertaining fights, will still do good. they'll still eat. They'll get other UFC bonus' some public like KO or Sub of night or many non public bonus'. But guys like Ryan Jimmo speaking out, the casual fan really won't notice nor care if he were dropped from UFC.

Shoot, I completely forgot about Ryan Bader till after the DC fight and all that wwe style promo started.

Ok if we go with that logic that we need to get these fighters hungry again. What about all these injuries? Over half of the main events have already been changed.

Dos Anjos wants to move up to 170 he's tired of the weight cut :ohhh:

I think I found the woman to dethrone Ronda Rousey brehs. That judo throw :wow:
my first thought was what a stupid game to play she could have paralyzed him. But I remember being a kid in a 3rd world country and play fighting was a good way to pass time. And girls were sometimes tougher than dudes

The fiscal conservative in me makes me not give too much of a fukk about fighter pay. If ZUFFA can pay dudes what they pay them and they stick around.....then more power to 'em. But I still wish that a GSP would make a comeback and do like the boxers do and get a team that could help him make his own events....When boxers get a fan base....those dudes eat :wow:

Even though gsp has money I think yall are missing the post fight interview he had against Hendricks. Dude was mentally out of it. He probably stepped away to heal his body and mind yes I heard the allegations of ped use for him also...

Conor wants to have his own type of "production" to work with zuffa for his events. A sorta association. He brought it up on his last interview with Ariel.

Eu Sou O Segundo

  • To be tested for in-competition only. In competition is defined as 6 hours before the weigh-ins and 6 hours after a fight.
  • 1st offense: 1 year (with possibility of 2 additional years for "aggravating circumstances")
    • 2nd offense: Double the sanction for the 1st offense
    • 3rd offense: Double the sanction for the 2nd offense

Well Nick Diaz's career is done :mjlol:

A "whistleblower" line will be made available to fighters.

The fighters are getting injuried more because 1, they all trying to cut weight at ridiculous weight to get bigger mix matches. We use to have a Royce gracie fighting guys 100lbs bigger than him. Imagine Rumble Johnson is fighting at 205 now he use to cut weight down to 170, miss weight or barely make weight and just lay and pray cous he too dehydrated to go hard for 3 rounds.

Another thing, really think about it how many injuries have actually happened in the ring as compared to in training. Maybe they should stop these marathon training sessions and just fight in their proper weight class instead.

:dwillhuh: how does cutting weight give you injuries breh?

Sure fighters should fight closer to their natural weight than dramatic cuts but it really depends on what they are cutting. :manny: we know for a fact DC has a huge cut to make every time he fights at 205 he hasn't any recent injury problems besides his knee. Which I do not think is cutting related. :manny:

Ima take a quote outta Conor on this one. "Work smarter not harder"
