My brother has his second MMA fight this weekend. He won his first one by knockout back in December, and he was supposed to have a fight last month but the dude backed out when his coaches search my brother's name and saw that he wrestled in college

The fighters are getting injuried more because 1, they all trying to cut weight at ridiculous weight to get bigger mix matches. We use to have a Royce gracie fighting guys 100lbs bigger than him. Imagine Rumble Johnson is fighting at 205 now he use to cut weight down to 170, miss weight or barely make weight and just lay and pray cous he too dehydrated to go hard for 3 rounds.

Another thing, really think about it how many injuries have actually happened in the ring as compared to in training. Maybe they should stop these marathon training sessions and just fight in their proper weight class instead.

Gus is looking like Griffin with the favoritism. I'm not a Bader fan but he does have three wins and the press conference shyt did create some buzz. Meanwhile, Gus is coming off getting his face smashed in. I wonder if he ducks and claims injuries to set himself up like this

Just further demonstrates what that division and title has become since the real champion was stripped. At least ufc are consistent with this farce. I suggested they get Gus in the mix to salvage this shyt but to put a dude with back to back loses in a title fight just because he will fetch the most buys is an embarrassing sign of desperation

It's not so much zuffa cares (as shown with jones's rehab stint) they need to be preceived as being proactive in eradicating drugs from their sport. That sequence of wanderlai's incident then Anderson silva & Nick Diaz then hector lombard getting popped could've been a PR nightmare if mma was mainstream. As I fan of the sport I have never been overly concerned with stuff like TRT usage. And a lot of the lengths of suspensions seem absurd but it's whatever. The shortsighted media and whiney nerds got what they wanted now they can shut up

Rashad who hasn't fought since November 2013? He has been out of the cage for such a long time the last time he fought, gsp was still with the ufc

Getting a title shot off a loss is not wavy but it's not like they have a lot of options if Jones isn't going to be back any time soon. Suga hasn't fought in damn near two years, Glover's on a two fight losing streak, no one wants to see Bader or OSP fight for the belt

LHW is not in an ideal spot but with Cormier just beating Rumble, Gus is the best choice no doubt about it yeah its unfortunate he's coming off a loss but lets look at the division there is no other option out there. If Gus fought again at the last card and beat some scrub everyone would have no question hes next in line. So even though Win-Loss it might not make a great deal of sense you are truly getting the nex bestt guy and thats ill i can ask for.
