Dillashaw spoke about it. Weidman kinda did as well he was more uncertain on how it would play out.
Wasn't Weidman like the poster boy for wearing Reebok wear? lol Anyway, I didn't know any of this, thanks.

While i completely understand the fighters pov on fighters union and how much revenue they will be losing with this Reebok deal, what they fail to realize is that most fans don't give a damn all they want are exciting fights. And everyone knows the moment the fighters get a union, get some guaranteed pay scale and make on avg more money the quality of fights will go down as fighters will be comfortable, and some guys will just be fighting just to keep the gravy train going and not to win. Imagine the increase in lay and pray fights. Right now, the fighters are starving and the lower on the pay scale they are the hungrier they will be, and will go out to get that win and move up and get that lil bit of money.

Look how quick GSP lost that fire to fight now that he's a multi millionaire, Rampage was the same got dat loot from movies and was gone. Once the movie loot was done he came running back. I hope ufc never gives em more money, and blocks em on the fighter union. Let them fight it out in the ring if they want that money.

That's my exact point. These fighters been eating too good the last cpl years. Guys getting 50-80k just off sponsors and logos on their trunks. I bet more than half of the fighters were making more off sponsors than the their actual fight purse.

That is why Dana is using this Reebok deal to put a stop to this sponsor pay out system and make these fighters hungry again. I'm willing to bet half these dudes aint even injured all the time. They just working the system to take less fights and make money outside the ring doing appearances, training, etc. How we got a champ like Cain who fights once every 2 years man. A fighter like Nick Diaz can do 1 big fight make his sponsor money then take a year or so off just making money off the side deals. We went from guys doing 4 fights in a night to 1 fight a year if we're lucky.
