I hope we get JDS V Travis Browne next. Why not
part of me always gets a thrill when they get thoroughly outclassed, in part because of their fans but mostly because they seem incapable of admitting their limitations, Its always something that has led to their loss, non engaging fighter, wrestling, an injury e.t.c The day nick gets ko'd or seriously tooled by a striker then its the end of an era but I am surprised nate has peaked so soon thothem diaz buoys are done
I aint enough of a business whiz to really break this down but while its getting ugly I dont think its armageddon, why? because they arent as dependent on ppvs as say 5 years ago. They run a whole lot of them and if the avg is somewhere between 300-400k I think they can live with that. This year we saw fight nights somewhat become the fixed ufc product some of the gates on those match ppvs and they dont have to pay no cable provider..Hell Isnt the gus/aj fight thats suppose to house 30k seats a fight night too? the gate on that will be silly. And I doubt they wont make a penny off the reebook deal, they are getting their cut. Then there is the fox money which I am sure is being used.UFC is in trouble:
UFC 178 (Johnson-Cariaso, Cerrone-Alvarez, McGregor-Poirier): 205,000 buys
UFC 179 (Aldo vs. Mendes): 160,000-200,000 buys
UFC 180 (Werdum vs. Hunt): 185,000-200,000 buys
UFC 181 (Hendricks vs. Lawler, Pettis vs. Melendez): 380,000 (This is an early number and may change somewhat based on late reporting cable systems.)

I thought that might be higher...UFC 181 (Hendricks vs. Lawler, Pettis vs. Melendez): 380,000 (This is an early number and may change somewhat based on late reporting cable systems.)

That aint going to happen....The day nick gets ko'd or seriously tooled by a striker then its the end of an era
anderson has been around since the 90s and is arguably one of the best yet if diaz gets tooled its no shame. I meant a post '05 fighter that has made his name in the companyThat aint going to happen....
but the second one lets see how anderson is coming back...
why would you think that? is lawler (despite his tenure) a draw? was their any traction for this rematch? hendricks nuff said..Now the trilogy should at least scratch 400k but who knows todayI thought that might be higher...

thats not under dispute the point is they arent as good as they/ their fans think they are and never were. They are also the poster children for a glaring double standard. Now its starting to look like the loses are increasing yet the malcontent and tardy behavior remains. Being a gallant loser shouldnt be enough to get way with that shyt but they do which is why a lot of folks saturday were likeThe Diaz brothers are definitely not that bright. But damn can they fight. Both of them pretty much always bring it and are fearless. When has either one of them been in a truly boring fight. I'm not their biggest fans, but I really appreciate and respect [minus their over the top taunting] what they to bring to fighting, they're true warriors.

No more immediate rematches. I'd rather have Lawler face the likes of Rory, Lombard & Woodley than another fight with Hendricks.Yep, MacDonald is no longer next in line, surpassed by former Welterweight champion Johny Hendricks, who just dropped a heart-breaking split decision Robbie Lawler at UFC 181 because he "tried to fight" like MacDonald's Canadian mentor and good friend, Georges St. Pierre.
That's the latest from "UFC Tonight," which MacDonald appeared on earlier this evening to reveal that the promotion is instead interested in an immediate trilogy match between Lawler and Hendricks. As a result, MacDonald will keep his next-after-next spot warm by, "lighting up whoever is next ... like always."
While nearly everyone seemed to enjoy the UFC’s hype package for UFC 182, one person who wasn’t impressed with the promo material is light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
“When I first saw it I was a little offended by it,” Jones said on FOX Sports 1’s “UFC Tonight.” “That the UFC, someone who’s supposed to be backing my brand and making me look good, would put up something like that for the general public to see. I don’t think it’s really healthy for the world to see their champion – for the world to see the UFC’s champion – saying I would kill someone, so that really took me off guard.”
