Diaz bros are not done... They'll still pick up some big wins here and there. They match up so poorly with wrestlers and grapplers..

I bet Nick Diaz can take Lawler's belt away. Lawler would stand and bang which is not a good strategy against Diaz but Lawler's too prideful to take the easy way out and try to wrestle Diaz.

Diaz bros are still contenders as long as they're not matched against wrestlers/grapplers.

UFC is in trouble:

UFC 178 (Johnson-Cariaso, Cerrone-Alvarez, McGregor-Poirier): 205,000 buys

UFC 179 (Aldo vs. Mendes): 160,000-200,000 buys

UFC 180 (Werdum vs. Hunt): 185,000-200,000 buys

UFC 181 (Hendricks vs. Lawler, Pettis vs. Melendez): 380,000 (This is an early number and may change somewhat based on late reporting cable systems.)

The UFC is definitely struggling with PPV buys, but PPV #s aren't what they used to be. Look at boxing, one of the biggest & most anticipated fights of the year, Cotto vs Martinez did a disappointing 350k buys. And Manny vs Algieri did just over 300k, which is a very low number for a PPV star like Pacman.

And like Roman Brady said, the UFC is less reliant on PPV buys and they're holding more events than ever.

I remember the days when the average run of the mill UFC PPV would get 500-600k buys.

That aint going to happen....

but the second one:patrice: lets see how anderson is coming back...

It's a tall task but it is possible. The Silva Diaz fight is interesting because damn near anything could happen. Silva ain't looking to grapple, Diaz ain't looking to move his head or check leg kicks. Gonna be an interesting night
