I got some Yamaha HS 8's for monitors. I just picked up some Audio Technicas earlier today. I got the M50 model. I don't have an interface, but I plan on getting one in the future. And yeah, hopefully I develop enough skills to turn mixing into a side hustle, cause this music shyt is an expensive hobby, especially when you start turning into an audiophile
I got some $1000 monitors on my wishlist. At the end of the day, I do it for fun though. I've sold beats, but little did people know, I would have given them shyts away
This mixing shyt is a whole different beast though. I definitely won't be mixing an album for free. I'm already starting to notice how time consuming the mixing game is, especially with me being the type of person that is obsessed with getting something as close to perfect as possible when it comes to music. I've been wanting to release a beat tape for minute, but I really want my shyt to be on point sonically before I start throwing them out there
