Good point, I don't think that this is going persuade Romney supporters to vote Obama. The best thing that can happen is that it will rile up Obama's base.

Overall, I don't think it will do much damage. A week from now, this will all be in the past. Bill Clinton allgedly made a monumental speech a few weeks ago, and hardly anyone remembers it let alone talks about it. THis will be no different.

Y'all overhypin the damage this video caused. You think Obama haters gonna vote for obama cause mitt is a douche. Lol mitt has closed the gap in the Gallup poll. Sorry to say but this country is so dumb they prolly agree with mitts comments.

Umm, people really shoulddnt pay attention to Gallup's daily poll. That sh1t just goes up and down. The monthly polls are more dependable imo. And so far they claim to have Obama winning VA and Oh. Hopefully it keeps up. Even tho I doubt it :noah:

I dont think this vid will hurt Mitt. The poor c@cs that support him live in fantasy land anyway.

Don't underestimate this. This was the nail in the coffin for his presidential bid.

I honestly can't stand paying attention to politics, especially the media's version of things, because it's just gonna piss me off and I'd rather stay placated. I won't lie.

But the shyt this guy said about people who won't vote for him, and how he showed contempt for half the country, and in such a way that basically ridicules people that could have voted for him...

...he fukked up. The way this spread was like none other. People are literally watching the video for the first time right now, and by the time you read the end of this post they're gonna be saying "fukk him."

This guy is a two-faced scumbag that proved what every skeptic thought: in private and around big money, he shows his true colors.

Over 5 Million hits on Youtube? You mean that speech? Romney don't even got a million hits.

I don't disagree that this is having an effect on his campagne as we speak, but I disagree that anyone will really give it a second thought weeks from now. There has been so much media fodder that has been tossed around in the past 6 months, only to be forgetten later. I honestly don't think that this will be any different. It's sensationalism, flavor of the week etc etc. I believe the debates will have the most impact in deciding just which way independent voters will sway.

lol you dudes are wayyy too emotional and attached. 5 million hits for Bill Clinton's alleged monumental speech is nothing in a global scale. Probably more than 95% of those viewers were going to vote Democrat anyway.

IMO the last thing people will remember will be the debates. Not Clinton's speech, or the alleged belief that Obama attempted to remove welfare work requirements. Those things are fading memories and this is pretty much the same thing.

The fact is Clinton speech is still getting hits daily. Romney speech can't even crack a million and he's running for President? Michelle and Obama speeches are well over a million. People don't want to be bothered with what Romney got to say. Also the Debates aren't going to help Romney cause now the are going to ask him about his tapes in the debate and Romney won't be able to hide, he will have to answer questions instead of giving half answers about what he's going to do. I'm not even saying it's over, I'm saying it's clear Romney is playing from behind.

He could have 10 million and no one would care today. The media has sobered up over the DNC. Just as people aren't thinking about the jobs report that threw cold water on all the excitement; people pretty much forgot about it once the next headline is on the forefront. In 1-2 weeks from now, there will hardly be any talk about what Mittens said. And once the debates begin, those who haven't already chosen, will probably give a more definitive answer as to whom they think is the better choice leading up to election day. I personally don't believe that this will have much of an impact.

This will be brought up in the debates. This will affect him leading all the way up to the election. You don't call half of America free-loaders and expect the media to simply forget about it. That's not how it works. It seems like you're trying to convince yourself that this won't matter, and that's fine. But there's a reason he did a 10 PM press conference for this and it's not because he thinks it'll "blow over in a week".

You honestly don't think this will come up in debates? :beli:

Personally I think you're juiced up on belief that this should be a "lock" for Obama because the very possibility that he could lose, is far too difficult to comprehend. Based on my own following, this type of hype has been running in waves since the Republican primaries a year ago.

I've said it for a while now before all the hoopla--the debates will end up being the deciding factor. I think all this did was give a bit of push to the Democratic Party since the DNC has now run out of steam.
