David Long decision Thursday
Cornerback David Long (Los Angeles, Calif./Loyola) will announce his college choice Thursday at 3 p.m. PST on ESPN.
He's still down to Washington and Michigan.
The Crystal Ball reads 53-percent for Michigan, 29-percent for Washington and 18-percent for Stanford.
Long officially visited Washington this weekend.
"I definitely had a good time with the other defensive backs like Budda Baker and Sidney Jones," Long said. "I really like (Huskies defensive backs) coach (Jimmy) Lake and how he develops defensive backs."
Long met with Washington coach Chris Petersen in his office before exiting.
"He's a genuine good dude," Long said of Petersen. "He's interested in his players for more reasons than football. I've really developed a good relationship with him."
Long said the highlight of his visit was hanging with the players.
"Getting to know them better," Long said. "I feel I would have a great opportunity to come in and play right away there."
Long said Lake came to see him Thursday. He said Peterson will do his in-home visit Wednesday.
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh will do an in-home visit Monday.
"I just like what Michigan is building," Long said. "I like their franchise. It's a great school with great tradition. They have a live atmosphere and I like everything they have to offer."
The four-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 8 cornerback and the No. 10 prospect in California in the 2016 class by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings.
