Michigan's upcoming official visit weekend will bring them one of the best groups of prospects of the season, and a group of players the Wolverines would love to add to their 2016 haul if possible. Momentum is on the Wolverines' side as they have one of the top overall classes in the country and have a real shot at catching LSU and Ohio State for the top overall class in the country.
Fuller Makes It In
The biggest visitor of the weekend by our estimation is Westwood (NJ) Old Tappan Top100 athlete
Jordan Fuller, who has long been one of the Wolverines' top targets under Jim Harbaugh. Fuller, who projects to safety at the next level, has also been told by the coaching staff he could get a chance to play on both sides of the ball in Ann Arbor.
It will be Fuller's first visit to Ann Arbor since March, as Michigan looks to catch Ohio State for his eventual signature. Michigan coaches saw Fuller last week and will see him again at least once this week before he gets to campus on Friday.
Cali Duo Heads In
Concord (CA) De La Salle teammates
Boss Tagaloa and
Devin Asiasi will head to Ann Arbor for the first time of the recruiting cycle as the Wolverines look to continue to build the momentum it looks like they have in both recruitments.
Despite the fact that we expect Michigan to receive a commitment from tight end Chase Allen, the staff would still like to add Asiasi and are currently recruiting him as a tight end. His blocking ability and good hands have him high on the coaches' list at the position, but he's also a potentially dominant player on the defensive side of the ball as well. He's a player the staff believes is too good to turn down.
Tagaloa is someone we could see filling either a defensive line or offensive line void. We've had him projected as a jumbo athlete for the staff for months, and that hasn't changed.
UCLA and Washington are considered contenders for both prospects, and it's conceivable that the pair signs with the same program.
Playmakers
Two names to keep an eye on while on campus are wide receivers Donald Stewart (Paramus, NJ/Catholic) and Eddie McDoom (Winter Garden, FL/West Orange).
Michigan is the 247Sports Crystal Ball leader for McDoom after a Sunday decommitment from Oregon, while it's a two team race between the Wolverines and Stanford for Stewart.
At this point, we believe both would be takes for the Wolverines, and especially McDoom, who is someone heavily coveted by the staff. With explosive playmaker types like
Nate Johnson,
Dylan Crawford, Ahmir Mitchell and Brad Hawkins committed among others, the Wolverines are on the verge of drastically increasing the athleticism at the skill positions in one cycle.

Joshua Uche (DE/LB) and
Elysee Mbem-Bosse (LB) are all going to make their first appearance on Michigan's campus this upcoming weekend.

All Crystal Ball Predictions
Murphy's visit to Ann Arbor is much-awaited, as he's been a target of the coaching staff for over a year now. The Wolverines are the 247Sports Crystal Ball favorite and with a strong relationship with Jim Harbaugh and his family, it's easy to see why. USC and Oregon remain the biggest competition, but both have undertaken heavy changes on their defensive staff and will hurt more than Michigan's change at DC because of the aforementioned connection to Harbaugh.
The Wolverines are battling Florida and Auburn for Uche's signature, as he is officially Don Brown's first recruit in Ann Arbor. An explosive edge-athlete, Uche projects at defensive end from our standpoint, but could be a stand up rush linebacker depending on how the class finishes out. Brown has made him a top priority since his hiring. Many believe Florida leads.
Mbem-Bosse is the wild card for the Wolverines. With Dontavious Jackson looking more and more like a longshot for the staff, they appear to be picking up their pursuit of the Ellenwood (GA) Cedar Grove middle linebacker, who would fill a need as a thumper in the middle for Don Brown and the Michigan defense. His recruitment has been a little odd, with a pair of commitment dates that were delayed, and it's believed that NC State may actually be his leader. Michigan will see him later this week before he heads into town.
