247Sports Crystal Ball: Dylan Crawford

Michigan Newsletter

After talking to two different sources regarding the visit of 2016 Top100 wide receiver Dylan Crawford, I've put in a 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction for Michigan on the four-star.

Michigan actually felt relatively strong on their position with Crawford heading into the visit, and it appears that the Wolverines may have done enough to put themselves in the driver's seat for his eventual commitment. Crawford has been enamored with the program for well over a year now, and nearly committed to Brady Hoke's staff last summer on his first unofficial visit to campus.

A potential commitment from Crawford would give the Wolverines two Top150 wide receivers in the class, with Keyshawn Young and Donnie Corley being the only two major targets left at the position in the 2016 cycle. Michigan is considered the favorite for Young, and continues to be somewhat of a factor in Corley's recruitment as well.

Yall remember Jamal Dean and how Urban did the same thing and offered the kid a scholarship but he couldn't play because doctors didn't clear him. Remember Urban getting called a piece of shyt, and a horrible person :francis:

This kid just had his THIRD acl surgery on the SAME knee though. Michigan doctors haven't cleared him (He got the procedure done at UM) and he still has to go back in December for ANOTHER surgery to the SAME knee. If UM doctors won't give him clearance as of right now, I don't see how anyone could clear him to play. Not now anyway.. considering he obviously can't play if he needs more work done to the same knee in December.

Damn near everybody on offense is coming back next season.

I'm not sold on this kid bruh. I don't know.. I hope I'm wrong.

Edit: Rememer when I said that Harbaugh's trying to get in at St. Thomas Aquinas? When we brought in Jake Rudock? And you guys laughed at me.. you DO know where John O'Korn went also right? :lolbron:

Buzz from Michigan's latest recruiting weekend

Michigan Newsletter

I see three commits coming down the road at some point from three prospects that took visits to Michigan over the weekend.

I put in a 247Sports Crystal Ball forecast in favor of the Wolverines following Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita Catholic Top100 receiver Dylan Crawford's official visit to Ann Arbor.

Talking to a source Tuesday morning about the weekend visit, I feel even more confident about Crawford signing with the Wolverines.

All Crystal Ball Predictions

Detroit (Mich.) King Top100 cornerback Lavert Hill was back at Michigan for a second straight weekend and sources continue to indicate the Penn State verbal will ultimately sign with the Wolverines. Nothing new I here. As I've said recently and bluntly, I'd be shocked if he doesn't sign with the Maize and Blue.

I'm close to putting in a 247Sports Crystal Ball forecast in favor of Michigan for Top100 cornerback David Long. Two sources tell me Stanford isn't really in play for the Cardinal commit. Everyone says Michigan is at the top of the list. One person said Notre Dame is the challenger and another said Washington. I believe the Huskies are very much in it for Long as well.

Franklin (Calif.) Elk Grove Top100 safety Lamar Jackson told Wolverine247 insider Steve Lorenz that the Wolverines were the favorite following the weekend official. A source told me on Tuesday that Jackson isn't really feeling the California schools. During the summer Jackson told me USC and UCLA were his favorites so that caught me by surprise, but nevertheless, great news for Michigan if that holds true.
Hope this comes true man we get these kids with Gary Bush Jr Nauta one of those Texas LB's back in business:wow:yes its entirely possible:feedme:

That took balls. I like the kid. And I still think he's one of the best punters in the country.

But damn it still stings .. :mjcry:
It does but I rewatched the game we had plenty of opportunities to put that game away offense didn't execute.Rudock wide open TD Chesson huge drop Braden holding on 2nd&goal we had it can't put the entire blame on him.Two of their TD drives were kept alive because of defensive penalties even tho one was terrible call.I just can't wait until Harbaugh upgrades the talent level:merchant:we'll have a senior laden roster next year with young talent everywhere else:ohlawd:

I was watching the Stanford-UCLA game on Thursday night at work .. and the work that the Stanford OLine gave that Duck DLine actually made me feel bad for Oregon. I can't wait till Harbaugh and Co. have our boys pushing wigs like that.

And Rudock is definitely the weak link to our offense. If we lose another conference game, you have to think Harbaugh will give one of the younger guys some meaningful snaps in games to see what he's got.
