I finished watching the game awhile ago
It was a great overall performance and I'm glad they built off their performance at Penn State. Gattis' offense has looked pretty good these last two weeks. Possibly, nitpicking but Shea does not know how to run read-option. I'm glad he was willing to stand in the pocket and I'm really glad his scabbling is starting to look like it did last year, but his read-option skills are lacking. I liked the downfield passing and we finally got to see why everyone was raving about Mike Sainristil this offseason. Defensively, Don Brown called a good game and had Book rattled early. That was probably the worst pass interference call in the history of football, but I loved the fan "support" after the fact. Shaun Nua needs to get a lot of credit for the improvement the DL has demonstrated, granted Dwumfour missed a bit of time with his hand injury in week 1 (our DL started looking better after he returned to the lineup). I know people are probably a bit down on Vincent Gray after the game, but I remember when Channing Stribling went from shaky to the unsung hero opposite of Jourdan Lewis. Just trust in Zordich, he's one of the best in the business.
If Michigan plays half as good as y’all played last night against us y’all gonna force Dantonio into “retirement”. Best I’ve seen Michigan look against a top 10 team in years.
If that's true who is on your shortlist? I think Fleck is a bit overrated but I believe he'd leave Minnesota for Michigan, MSU, Notre Dame, OSU, a top college job, or the NFL. Obviously Fickell mirrors a young Dantonio, Campbell at ISU should be able to fix the offensive woes, and Matt Rhule would be great but I don't think he's ready to leave Baylor.
