Time will tell with that but Ben Mason & Jordan Glasgow defensive roles show me meritocracy is a farce. The TE position has been really bad since Harbaugh took the offense back over
I think he needs to rotate more players, to get them more reps but I’m not at practice every day so i don’t know what these kids look like

On a positive note, this Saturday should be his last game at Michigan

I’ll believe that when I actually see Shea holding a clipboard.

The more talent get passed up by mediocre white boys, the more the portal will ding

Oh.. there’s gonna be more. That’s just the first domino.

I actually think the opposite. At least for certain positions. Like RB. Charbonnet will run for 9, then 11 then get pulled, and not have another carry till 8 minutes left in the half. :shaq2:

I don’t mind that, keep them miles off his knees/legs, he’s got at least 2 more seasons to get hit

They won't make McCaffrey or Milton's first start be vs Notre Dame.

I honestly think the only way Shea Butter-Fingers gets benched is if he gets hurt.

I agree that meritocracy under Harbaugh is BS, but I also think that guys like Mason and Glasglow are practice all-stars so it makes them hard to supplant outside of underperforming in games or injury. I also expect younger players to get better as the season progresses, so who is to say McGrone [w]as ready to start week one?

Lastly, Glasglow is [not] that bad. He shouldn't start though. :whoa:

PSU -8.5....I got y’all covering and low key y’all always handle bidness against PSU and might win.

I got a weird ass feeling about this game. I'm getting MSU game vibes from last year (not being a dikk..) .. Im kinda feelin like we keep it close, and somewhat low scoring.. and we take a shot or two deep.. and connect on one. Its funny cause I just read this write up by Michael Spath on SI, and he said something similar.

Oh, and how great is it that coaches are still at each others throats as far as what kind of offense we're gonna run.

Michigan Football Chatter Pre-Penn State Game

Harbaugh's gotta go man. How can you be so indecisive on things like this, but be so SET on playing upper classman that are inferior talent wise to some of the younger guys?

If we were home or neutral site I'd pick us. But Primetime during a White Out?

Penn State is only averaging 17 points against teams who play defense so I doubt they can blow us out; however, we only managed to score 10 points against Iowa at home. They may not need to score more than 17.

All things considered, we should be encouraged. They fell behind early, fought back, and lost on a dropped pass. They've never shown the ability to overcome that kind of adversity under Harbaugh.

I'm not excusing Harbaugh for underperforming expectations, but in years past they would have laid down after it was 21-0.

Hopefully, they build off this effort and come to play against Notre Dame.

I like what I saw from the offense in the 2nd half even thought the loss sucks I can handle it better seeing the progress that was made tonight but this team has to stop having slow starts at the beginning of every big game they play
