If he fukked up his shoulder, then he should have sat out. The beginning of our schedule was tailor made cupcake status. On some SEC shyt.

The second he faced any team with discipline and/or a good defense, he caved. With the exception being Wisconsin. At home. Although he played like shyt that game too.

He's just not a good QB breh. I'm a MICHIGAN fan. I want my TEAM to do well. If Speight is the QB to take us to the promised land, then I'd ride with him. I didn't like Navarre, but I rode with him and he had a good career. Unlike Speight, he was a QB. A D1 QB. I still refuse to believe that someone of Speights talent level should be starting at Michigan.

Speight had 15 TD and 3 Int with a 65% completion while being 9-0 prior to breaking his collarbone. First things first the oline has got to improve. The primary reason we lost to Iowa and osu is because we couldnt get 10 yards running the ball and wgeb teams know you cant run the ball youre going to struggle throwing.

Still not cosigning Speight though. Reminds me of Scott Mitchell too much.

Speight had those numbers before facing a real defense. Lets be real. And while i lead the O'Korn brigade last year, it pisses me off when people use that game that he started as a measuring stick. Do you recall the weather that game? How about the shytty play calling?

And saying that Speight isnt a michigan caliber QB isnt wrong. Neither have most of the QB''s in the last 15 years like you said.
