he should get a legit chance imo let him grow with the young kids out there Speight should have a extremely short leash
Willing to sacrifice the Florida game for growth? I'm not
It's no guarantee we win that game anyway. Our defense should keep us in every game his inconsistent play is troublesome. He's a Senior who looked like the worst QB out there the o-line did him no favors but he didn't look the partWilling to sacrifice the Florida game for growth? I'm not
just came here to one star this garbage thread and hope u cocksuckers season go in flames early
What makes you think there would be any sacrafice? If the line breaks down, Peters showed today that he's able to move out of the pocket and make something happen.
The fact is this .. Speight still looks like a deer in headlights when pressured. Or when he plays a good defense. That should've been shook by now.
Peep my comment on his repHappy Easter breh.

As a team, I see us being a better team in 2018 than 2017, and I saw 2017 as being a 'developmental' season from day 1 of Harbaugh. Theres one starter returning on defense, a projected 3 freshmen starting on the OL. Bredenson, Evans, and Crawford played part time as freshmen, and will leap to major contributors. There would be a learning curve for a QB even if anyone I named were Bama level recruits. I see the problems Speight has just like everyone else, I want to see him lose to Florida first before benching him. Get the playoff possibility out of the way, then im thinking future.
Dline is gonna be one of the top units in the nation, and that can cover up a lot of youth in the secondary. As a team, I see us being a better team in 2018 than 2017, and I saw 2017 as being a 'developmental' season from day 1 of Harbaugh. Not sure what that post is for? He made a damn good throw.
If I wasn't egg hunting with my daughter, I could upload about 3 hours worth of Speight boneheaded plays.
I was originally with you. Thinking that 17 would be a rebuilding year. And I'm still kind of on board with that. But these kids can play breh. And other than Ruiz (who's not a guarantee to start) .. there's not another freshman that's scheduled to start this year.
Depth might be a minor proble this year. But we'll be better all around than we were last year. Just watch.
Speight clearly fukked up his shoulder/collarbone vs Iowa. We can't lie to ourselves about that. Prior to that, he was the best qb in the big ten. Play calling didn't adjust to Speight injury, lost our best lineman and pounded the rock with possibly the worst rb on scholarship. That's why Fisch and Wheatley got fired, not sure why y'all putting most of that on Speight.
pick him over kizer brehsIf he fukked up his shoulder, then he should have sat out. The beginning of our schedule was tailor made cupcake status. On some SEC shyt.
The second he faced any team with discipline and/or a good defense, he caved. With the exception being Wisconsin. At home. Although he played like shyt that game too.
He's just not a good QB breh. I'm a MICHIGAN fan. I want my TEAM to do well. If Speight is the QB to take us to the promised land, then I'd ride with him. I didn't like Navarre, but I rode with him and he had a good career. Unlike Speight, he was a QB. A D1 QB. I still refuse to believe that someone of Speights talent level should be starting at Michigan.
