i dont think yall right about that flying mutant thing. What was that one dude doing those hand movements for if that was the case?
Nah I'm watching the scene over again and there's definitely a flying mutant in the air. Just keep looking at the sky, you'll see him soaring and then coming into the scene to knock the soldier away like in the screenshot. The telekenis dude was moving rocks and tanks.

Bruh...

Just because this shyt was "visual stunning" to you doesn't mean people were going to catch on especially casual fans. The first few episodes explained NOTHING and even the Legion fans were saying "its not Shadow King" and really didn't know wtf was going on.

So yeah, the fact that theyre explaining the main points of the story makes it a lot better than showing weird shyt for 3 hours earlier in the season. A lot of people aren't as impressed with the visual weird shyt as others... Theyre enjoying the story coming together and the horror

when does this show actually get better? I watched the first 2 eps and they were a total waste of my time. The online hype makes me think I'm missing something, but I also know that hype is just that - hype.

When does this series begin to tell a meaningful story (if ever?)

Don't worry

You feel how most REAL viewers felt

It starts really picking up in the 4th episode I think.

Or it might be the 3rd, any episode that focused on the "Angry boy"

That shyt was confusing but surprisingly kinda scary.

Edit: its the 3rd episode. Just turn your mind on autopilot and watch the first half when you get around to it.

Once you get to like the 5th episode you will probably be like :ohhh::merchant:

I will say that episodes 1,2, and 4 sucked to me. Necessary to watch though, just.. Not coherent enough to keep me interested if they were back to back to back imo.

But episodes 3,5,6,7 and most likely 8 were :dame:.

I'm glad I stuck with this because the payoff has been worth it...But those first few episodes were tough for me to get through. The writing is great. Probably the best for a comic book show I've ever seen. It was just a bit much for me to follow at first.
