the first ep i can honestly say i fully liked. Still pretentious as fuk and i see the coli snobs really eat that shyt up so i guess they doing they're job. shyt had hella funny moments to me tho. The whole thing where david constantly walking thru the same door was hilarious and so was the whole british david thing. Was cool to see them show professor x wheelchair as well. Still questions as to how all these ppl can get in david head but its whatever, bring on the finale

Also I am pleasantly surpised by inclusion of alot of comic book elements. He even figured out his father was prof x.

I dont think he figured out WHO his father is, he just figured out that he must be a powerful enough mutant to have beat Shadow King in the astral plane

Honestly, Aubrey Plaza was evil af in Parks n Rec too... Even that Wedding movie she was just in she was fukked up so I don't see this being too far of a stretch role for her.

Just because this shyt was "visual stunning" to you doesn't mean people were going to catch on especially casual fans. The first few episodes explained NOTHING and even the Legion fans were saying "its not Shadow King" and really didn't know wtf was going on.

So yeah, the fact that theyre explaining the main points of the story makes it a lot better than showing weird shyt for 3 hours earlier in the season. A lot of people aren't as impressed with the visual weird shyt as others... Theyre enjoying the story coming together and the horror

Nobody needed to catch on, they spelled everything out this episode. That's my point. You had people watching 1-2 episodes talking about "nothing makes sense". Let this shyt cook....it's only 8 episodes. 6 episodes actually because the 7th spelled everything out for people. People were comparing it to "Lost" after 2 episodes....it was ridiculous.

I don't know what fans you're talking about, people called it being the Shadow King after the first episode on here. My homeboy called it then, too. That early it was a lucky guess but still....the story wasn't nearly as confusing as people made it out to be. Weird as fukk? Definitely....confusing? Not really.

They spelled things out last episode before this too

People have been catching on the last half of the show... So the fact that they spelling shyt out has people more excited about the show then they were in the beginning when NOTHING made sense to ANYONE.

I was even reading articles where people were speculating that it was the Shadow King (when it was kinda obvious once they said the dogs name was King but the dog never really existed because it was a fat, sloppy looking demon) but they were gushing all over the visuals instead of the actual story.

Some people need more than that to watch a show and I honestly think a lot of casuals didn't stick around (like people in my family) pass the first few episodes

Honestly, the horror episode was the only one that didn't make me bush it

And yeah, there were people on here who didn't think it was Shadow King... Im talking about those fans, and articles online as well.

And not everyone got the time or patience to let a show cook for weeks on end without ANY clue of whats going on, just "visuals". There are plenty of shows out there that have plot twists and turns... Difference is you actually know the plot. Its explained in the first few episodes ESPECIALLY if its an hour long. Now that people know the real plot of the show, it's much more enjoyable to wonder what will happen next.

Also, I didn't watch Loss or even care too once I heard what it was about

I'm fully caught up. this show is amazing. I'm consistently impressed by how versatile it is. that Nina Simone musical bit, the silent movie shyt. what a well crafted show. the editing is extremely on point I can't imagine how much of a mind fukk editing this together in.
