with all these old cats i'm hoping the knicks could steal phoenix's training staff cuz these cats gonna be at high risk for injuries. Especially anthony who wont have much of a break between the olympics and the season. Plus they need to get felton in shape otherwise his knees gonna be done by christmas

Outside of 3 players... the Knicks aren't even that old. Everyone else (except Shump) are at the ages where they should be in the prime of their careers.

Smith, Novak, Melo, Amare, Brewer, Felton, Chandler, and White are all between 26 and 31

Shump is 24

Then you have old Kidd, Camby and Thomas... but they're still good at what we need them for. So

It was a pretty bad gamble. The knicks with Lin minus Melo were on fire. Instead of sticking to what works, the Knicks management trade players when they need them the most.

what about how good they played under Woodson? Saw melo carry Into the playoffs thru a harder playoff schedule ? Not to downplay Lin but settle down

You're talking about a New York team with Lin, but without Melo.. and you think they would fare better in a full regular season? What the knicks needed wasn't necessarily Lin... It was a competent point guard.

You see what happened at the end of the season with a not even a 100% healthy Baron Davis and Mike Bibby... two point guards that weren't great, but can play the PG position competently?.... They still won games

If you think Lin would have been better than Felton... then I could let it pass, because even though I don't think there would be much difference, considering the Knicks' needs, Felton did struggle last year.

Wtf ? Are you a trip alias or you just start watching basketball ? Melo beat the heat lakers all those teams before . The Guy carried us past the celtics bulls bucks to get us into the playoffs not to mention he CARRIED nuggets for years. What exactly has Lin won outside of nine games?
