Alan Hahn" how much does jeremy lin really want to stay in NY if he's willing to go back to the rockets and renegotiate an offer sheet that they originally had agreed to to make it more difficult for him to stay in NY" If Lin wanted to be in NY he would be lets not make this a dolan issue. He isn't the smartest owner but he's ALWAYS put his money up. Lin did some snake shyt. He got his break here EVERYONE wanted him back. He's a smart kid Lin probably looked at it like in NY I gotta work with melo stat kidd etc I probably wont be able to put up the stats I did. In houston it'll be my team and I'll have every chance to shine and be a star

Salute to Glen Grunwald on avoiding the rockets so he could get more time to make a decision thats G shyt. The disrespect some of these CLOWNS are giving felton is crazy. Led North Carolina to a Title in college, fifth pick in the 05 draft 17 and 9 making a playoff push last time he was here but now all of a sudden he can't come close to lin?? The same reason why our Knick fan base is great being that its so huge is the same reason its the worst at times its so huge half of Knicks fans dont know any REAL shyt about basketball

Exactly . I guarantee if Lin had came out and said I Would love to remain a knick Houston's a great city but I wxnt to be a knick hes here still . He tried to take advantage of the Knicks or hr didn't want to be here . If he was black I doubt wee would applaud him for his shady move , he has the right to get as much money as he wants but he doesn't have to snake us. Not to mention he got his break here yet the guy tries to screw us . It's a business for us too

This is true. No one is bigger than the crew. This will sting a little bit to some but it's going to save the organization, coach and players, a major headache down the road. Plus, if Houston had gotten away with this move - it would have set a precedent for the whole league.

So we wish Lin well in his future endeavors. Houston can enjoy paying him. We can all watch his progress next season. This may have saved Lin from the NY media scrutiny that he may or may not be equipped to deal with.

I didn't even want to get into the race issue...but if your black you already know what it is. Anyway Lin got his break here. Melo backed you and supported you getting playing time. The whole city had your back. Lin was a king here even at the expense of our truly better players and he still shytted on the Knicks while being defended by the fans lol. Lin dont give a fucc about no Knick fan. Stat wanted to be here Melo wanted to b here Shump wants to be here Novak wants to be here Jr wants to be here once dallas the team he won a championship with started acting funny Tyson wanted to be here Camby wants to be here Kidd wants to be here do ya'll not see a trend?? Lin is a funny dude you would risk going to houston and NEVER having a chance to win a chip let alone playoffs for alil extra $$$?? I see where your heart is at LIN. I just feel bad for all those fans who believe in his naive humble love of his team mates attitude him and landry bum is about the $$$:umad:

Exactly The guy didn't want to be here or was greedy . People giving him too much leeway due to his story . If anyone else did what he did they would crucify him for being greedy maybe it's cause hes not black idk. But in a world where people complain about stars taking less to play together they bigging up Lin . It's one thing if the Knicks short changing him but he got a more than above value contract offer for a guy with so little playing time coming off a injury yet he had to squeeze out 5 mil more when he would more than make that up in NYC . Not to mention its not common practice to go and renegotiate a offer sheet unless you want to leave . The Knicks make a lot of money no Matter what if they play good and make it a few rounds well be making even more money . Play trumps hype .

Son looked off Melo to pass to Landry or shoot the rock himself....I tried to overlook that.

I know . Man the Knicks actually went to court to get his bird rights si we can pay him more . If we Didnt want the guy why do that ? Let Houston offer him a deal we couldnt match and keep it moving . The Knicks pretty much washed money on that case cause novak said he wanted to be a Knick and I'm sure he would've stayed for the min . He's ungrateful guys sorry Linsanity was great as a fan but he's ungrateful

what's the avg. age of this team now?

Even without Hill, the Knicks have three of the four oldest players in the NBA (assuming 39-year-old Heat forward Juwan Howard retires as expected). As of June 15, the average age of the seven players expected to get the most minutes in the team's rotation next season is 32 years, 132 days, according to Stats, LLC. That's more than five years older than the average age of their seven most-used players last season.
