I remember when this dude acted an ass in Impact to get his walking papers from them. I always got the impression that he very much bought into his own hype, even though outside of his Lucha Underground run, he's been - and even that was only decent.

Seems like Kross went nuclear with insecurities after that Cole promo, Scarlett played sick to keep her guy from losing it, and he started eyeing the contract after they caught on.

I don't really feel sorry for either of them, though.

Well Cole is likely AEW bound and Kross is playing gladiator on Raw.

So both are out of NXT now.
